    Yeah. Slip of the thought, since my phrasing started more along the lines of "Tyranitar loses a little power for bulk and utility" and I changed thought and phrasing partway through typing.

    QQ, how does Hoopa has a better defensive typing than anything? You mentioned it has a better defensive typing than Tyrantrum lol

    I meant in the sense of while not having resistances, it also doesn't stack too many common weaknesses (Fairy and Bug, only the former is particularly common outside U-Turn).

    Tyrantrum has some resists, but weaknesses to common Ice, Steel, Fighting, Ground, and the mentioned Fairy.

    Neither type is good, but I prefer Hoopa's more common neutrality to Tyrantrum's vulnerability to so many types, even if he also has some nice resists (Flying and Fire for Talonflame).
