Haha, thanks! Your Johto Safari captures inspired me to do 4th Generation again! Although I find it harder going back to 4th Gen and delays haha!(:
Well on the bright side school is starting. .-.
Sounds like a busy day! That is similar to my weekends. I find it funny how your little sister ultimately makes all the decisions xD. It's so different from our family. Idk what my mom and dad planned for us this weekend. But I hope it will be interesting. Last year, my parents took me and some friends to Cedar Point, and it was so fun. I'm hoping they do something for me this time again, so idk if i can talk much over the weekend. Or later tonight for that matter. I might check here once again at a really late hour, then go to bed. So if I don't see you... Oyasumi!

And even though you won't see this for horsea...
/me blesses PoJ with as much luck Red can possibly give you! <3
I've saved it up since yesterday, so this might last you the whole weekend!

I have been meaning to ask you this for sometime now, but when we are both available, can you get on IRC? Or we can talk @via VM, Idc.
For cart, is a bit harder. As you are outside and can't save where there are no wandering NPC's. For Platinum any ways. When you pick up your starter, I believe that there is 2-3 NPC's that advance the frame by about 6-10 frames about every second.

I believe DP would be easier as if I recall, there are no NPCs that could affect your frame.

Also, all the starters in Plat have the same frame.
If not impossible, as you have no way of keeping track of where your frame is. You'd have to check the delay before going in, and hoping you get to encounter a Pokemon your frame.
It's all relied upon luck. There isn't much skill in it.
In the Great Marsh, you can use your Journal. Just the fastest way is running and NPC's. Especially since I usually try to hit higher frames for Great Marsh as you never know when you're going to be able to get to the desired area.

Like I once hit a frame of 2,000 in the Great Marsh.
Emulator abuse is just different in that you hit your seed differently, and you can keep track of the frame wherever it decides to go. It's quite helpful but it can be too much work if your computer isn't fast enough to handle it.
I was going to do an Eon Timer / Pikatimer run through in the introduction post, as that post is going to be getting people used to terms. Programs and various other things they are going to need to properly abuse in 4th gen.

Also, during every post I will also make references on how to abuse on an emulator as well. Since I tend to see that quite a bit as well.

    - Battlestar
    - Callmerandom
    - Jucaa
    - Gliiviire
    - Kai Kusanagi
    - Tsubasa-kun
    - Pakasage

I still haven't done a Safari Zone abuse, so I'll slash it in. But most likely won't be able to write anything up until I actually do it. So I'll prolly RNG up an ID/SID with a bunch of spreads and work it out.

I'll probably need someone to beat the game for me.
I will also have to figure out how to do that whole "block leveling" thing. It still confuses me.

DPPt breeding is inferior to HGSS breeding. As HGSS got all the egg moves that DPPt got, plus more. So the only reason why I would slash it there is if people don't have access to HGSS. In my opinion it's no where near as fast, or reliable as HGSS.

I've only ever abused a shiny egg in Plat, I never got to do IV's. Too much work for me without having an international parent. Along with, after Pokeshifting the hatch location disappears so having a special DPPt hatch location is now pointless as well.
