  • never put much stock in the preseason, gameplans are very vanilla and defenses don't really try at all
that's exactly my thoughts, we'll score a lot but Peyton always tears up the 4-3

only plus side is we'll probably be able to stop the run like the Steelers did, but I don't see us being able to slow Peyton that much :@
tough one... their secondary isn't very good, so the Sinners and Giants will pass all over them, but Scam has the potential to score a bunch of points on either. The former's defense sucks, the latter's is really more attuned to defending "traditional" QBs that require a pocket to pass out of.

I'm not gonna bet on a team that only had 10 rushing yards last week, though, so I think 0-3 is more likely than 1-2, regardless of who the victory would be over.
I draft the players that are most likely to win me money.

    I'm such a whore.
I'll get to see the Sinners actually, DirecTV always has the Sunday Ticket package free for the first week of the season.

Gotta watch 'em because I have Brees and Sproles in my money league!

I also have Bowe and Charles and the Chiefs are playing the Falcons, so I'll have to root for players on teams I want to lose. #fantasyfootballproblems
Robinson, not really. There's lots of spread guys that are great in college that would never make it in the pros.

As a RB, maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.

This week I think we get NE/Ten and Atl/KC as the 1:00 games, plus SF/GB as the 4:00 game. It's usually only three early games + the thursday night, sunday night, and monday night games.
Air Force is a service school, no better than Army/Navy, so for Michigan to struggle with them is a pretty bad sign :x

The 49ers are named after the 1849 gold rush, where people there became known as the 49ers.
I skimmed it only to look at the Falcons' and it made me sad

    it was alright, nothing special
That's exactly the reason why the Jags are the team that will probably move. Everything about them is unexciting for their fans, so they could use a fresh start.

If by complete overhaul you mean changing like the Browns -> Ravens did, that'd be likely. A change in name and colors will probably happen (LA Jaguars sounds awful, doesn't it?) if they did make the move.

I haven't followed the situation enough to say whether a team will make a move or not soon, but at a guess I'd say the odds it's this upcoming offseason are pretty low.
Not what, who. They would have to change their name if they moved, though.

I don't think they're the most likely team to move at all - that honor belongs to the Jaguars. New owner, shitty state to play in (very low attendance numbers for all three Florida teams, this would help all of them) and a team that's been unexciting for their entire lifetime. Next would be either the Chargers or the Raiders, as it wouldn't be a big deal for them (though I guess both would be possible, I hadn't really considered it). The Rams are also possible, but I think the Jags will be the ones to go.

Teams don't have the choice of what division they're in - they'll be forced to move. The NFL would probably decide it'd be less hassle to move them than to keep the divisions the same.
hypothetically speaking, teams probably won't change conferences (afc -> nfc or nfc -> afc), so the LA Bills would be in the AFC West, booting the KC Chiefs to the AFC South, and moving one of the 3 eastern AFC South teams (Indi, probably, but Tennessee/Jacksonville would work) to the AFC East
I have a couple leagues, and literally almost every other team drafted a backup TE before I got Marty B as my starter.

It was pretty good, both QBs did good but both secondaries and o-lines did poorly.
felt like Eli could have looked his way a little more

but I'm happy with him as my starting TE! that catch in the endzone was something you'd expect from the Gronk.
    haha

well good luck to the Gents, even if I secretly want the Cowboys to win :toast:
