Yes, it takes time for Kyogre to reach you, right? So during that time the frames will advance. Unfortunately I haven't caught Kyogre, so I don't know how long it takes for Kyogre to get to you. Also, you need to set frame skip to 1. The best way to learn is through trial and error.

Speaking from experience, it's best not to aim for a split spread. When I breed Emerald stuff, I can safely say splits appear far less than 50% of the time. Therefore it's best not to aim for them. Edit: I'd say they've appeared for me roughly once every six or seven eggs. This is by no means...
