i saw your post and there is no perfect team just know the sets and know the opponent kinda like chess, youl find it eventually

I'm not sure what rmt is but i can tell this..im somewhat new to competitive play but im very dedicated and competitive. i dont use weather teams but i could suggest a special dragonite for a rain team, i havent faced one, but i have done my research and it seems devistating. My teams are based on pure force and destroying oppenents(as you saw). i would also suggest getting rid of deoxys..one spikes user is enough. thunderus is great i wish i could get him but i have black version. I think todays metagame is all about outsmarting your opponent..give em what they dont expect(dont be afraid to mix tiers, there are great pokes in uu and other tiers too). but whats the perfect team for you? only you will know. I too was getting frustrated with 5th gen until i found the one..then the two, then 6..the "perfect" team for me. keep it up and dont give up

you might want to change it to physically oriented, his atk stat is way better than his sp. atk. if you run a max speed set and choice band it with adapatability aqua jet and aqua tail would get a huge boost, then you can use it's other moves like double edge or another physical attack, but if you're looking for a special water type, you might want to try starmie, it's a ton better than basculin

what's the move list for basculin? because it it's more physical you might want to put a choice band because i think basculin is pretty fast to begin with

yeah, but i'm smart so i have rest and shed skin on my scrafty ;) so night shade wouldn't have been too much of a problem

get a better move than knock off lol, maybe nightshade since it does 100 damage every time, and if they don't have a recover move then they're screwed
