Go to the GBU, then click on competition info tab at the bottom right (has the word "new" in red) and then click to sign up on the new window.
Remember to check the "I've read all terms and blabla" stuff so you can complete registration

Yup long life to EV reducing berries. At least it's not that hard to tell where your EVs are if you're training a lv 100 pokemon since the EVs are applied automatically .-.
