Actually, there's one thing I've been looking for for a long, long, long time. If you're up for a BP I'd be greatly thankful. Been looking for a naive magnet pull 31/30/31/30/31/30 magnemite, but i want it in an egg and possibly to hatch shiny in my game.. I see. No need to go through all the trouble of restarting Pearl, but if you want ideas I can tell you some. Thank you, I owe it to my banner maker, me being patient, and planning it carefully. It depends on what you're trying to do and what you want. I planned it all out in my head on how I wanted everything to look and then I looked at other threads to get ideas and inspiration. I used indenting on this thread to make it look like the thread was outlined rather than a bunch of words put together. Not sure if that helps, but if you could be more specific then maybe I can throw more ideas at you.

That's weird; I thought delays had to be consistently even or odd. I'm not sure what that means now that you got your ID/SID, but that's great! I wasn't here to see people get banned. What happened exactly?

I haven't looked at that at all, lol I didn't even know it existed really. What I do is pick a single nature/spread that I want, say something like adamant 31/31/31/x/31/31. I search that spread in Poke RNG. Then for each result that comes up, I will take that PID, plug it into Pandora's Box, and generate an ID/SID combo. Then I re-search PokeRNG, this time searching for shiny spreads using that ID/SID combo (I only search spreads with the ability I want, depending on the things I most want to catch, and sometimes I'll even look up encounter slots). It takes a while to find which pairs of natures come together, and which combos to choose.

Haha yeah I was like what did I do???...Well at least now you know you're able to do it. I'm going to be resetting my game probably tomorrow or the next day, not sure what spreads to go for yet though.

Well, it's only breeding for shiny, flawless pokemon; it's the basic stuff. At least you can do capture RNG and maybe even ID/SID abuse in the future. If you know your exact calibrated delay and seconds, then you should be able to do it. Of course you need good timing as well, but that takes practice.

I didn't want to force myself to change my "calibrated delay" until I realized that my current one made no sense and I felt like taking a risk. It took me about 20+ RNGs to convince myself lol. All I used was Pikatimer for this. I noticed that when I would first attempt to RNG for anything (without adjustments) and if I KNOW I hit the "target delay" despite what RNG Reporter said, I would always come up short by about 6. My "calibrated delay", which is just the average from the range I calibrated for, was odd (497) despite me being able to always hit even delays 99.9% of the time so I changed it to my new and correct calibrated delay of 490. Ever since then I've been RNGing faster than I can EV train; I just RNGed something in 10 minutes.
