    Big Island has about the same price range as the Mainland. The fact being Oahu is more of a Tourist attraction and a place for rich people. Big Island doesn't have as many attractions as Oahu, so it's cheaper. Though the buses just recently started charging for rides.

    Though I do agree anything like houses or cars, will generally be more expensive.

    Actually, from the mainland, prices aren't that different. If anything it's local products that are the most expensive things I see. But it's all nice around here so I say the slight increase in price is okay with me. :D

    Though I have to go walk 2 miles and then take a bus into Hilo just to get Micky D's, Pandas, or Paco Bell. :(
