Primeval/Ascended

Primeval means something that relates to the earliest stages of the world, which coincides when Earth was just a molten rock. Ascended refers to escaping that primitive era while also referring to the sky, where you’d look up to see the aurora.

Summer/Winter

Very WIP as you can see, particularly the first form. Winter for the second form is supposed to reference Fimbulwinter, the period of three consecutive winters that serves as the prelude to Ragnarok in Norse mythology, but I can't really think of a good match for it atm.

Dormant/Radiant

Pretty simple naming convention here, Dormant references volcanoes, calmness, and the fact that Ramnarok is signaling the coming of... Ragnarok. Radiant references the Aurora Borealis and fits the conventions of legendary super forms (Terapagos-Stellar, Zacian/Zama-Crowned, Ultra Necrozma, etc.)

Gjalramhorn/Enheram

The first form had horns that ressembled a war horn so I decided to go with a reference to norse mythology like the name suggest. For the second form, I decided to go with the warriors that fight during Ragnarok being the enherjar due to the tip of the horns looking like spirits.

Not sure if i'll just go for Enherjar or putting in the pun.

Algiz / Hagalaz

So as a Binding of Isaac nerd, there's a couple of Nordic runes that sticks out to me that would be interesting for Ramnarok -- Algiz is the rune of protection, whereas Hagalaz is the rune of hailstorms and disruption.

The names are obviously a bit cryptic if you're not familiar with what those runes mean but I think it could be interesting enough to make Ramnarok's forms stand out.

Omen/Herald

Given that the mon is heavily based around Ragnarok, I felt it fitting to theme the form names around foretelling the end of the world. The appearance of its base form would be a bad omen, while it would become a herald of the apocalypse once it blows the Gjallarhorns.

WIP

Aegis / Blitz

Aegis - is tied to the concept of support/shielding. Usually it's the support of an agency but it derives from - (in classical art and mythology) an attribute of Zeus and Athena (or their Roman counterparts Jupiter and Minerva) usually represented as a goatskin shield.

Blitz - This is the form name that it was brought to my attention - could be an issue. (Originally Blitzkrieg) I have mixed views regarding this & will move this to WIP. Blitz is the first half of the military tactic, Blitzkrieg, meaning "lightning war," that involves a swift, focused attack to quickly overwhelm and disorient an enemy. It aims to achieve a rapid victory with minimal losses by disrupting the enemy's command and control structure. Blitz is also used to describe a method of defending in American football by aggressively rushing the quarterback.

As a German, let's not go there. Probably not well known outside of Germany, but Blitzkrieg was exclusively a WWII thing and does not have good connotations.
I'm very well informed on history & Germany. (Lived & worked there) But, I'm not a German myself, so I can't fully comprehend your perspective - I respect it though if it's truly the case & connotation that people have towards it. My only responses to that are that this was strictly a tactic that was developed pre-WW2 & I was focused on the aspect of the word meaning Lightning War - offensive/quick etc. As well as the fact that it's been co-opted as a language spanning term. (Like certain brands that people dont realize what language they originally came from) I just wanted to state my perspective because I feel like that was a stretch regarding a term we hear & use all the time - especially being jewish myself.

Edit - I've updated my submission to WIP & changed the second name to "Blitz"
