i came up with the username bowserhistory (referencing the song Browser History by Graham Kartna) but when i wanted it on showdown it was taken, so i just swapped the word order. i use bowserhistory on a different platform though bc it wasn't taken
Tried a few usernames when first trying to make a showdown account and they were all already taken so I just gave up

i was obsessed with the "my name is jeff" meme when i was younger to the point that i would just call myself jeff
i then thought everything is funnier if you spell it wrong so "jeff" became "geph" and the -icka was riffing off of "jessica" with a k added because funny mispelling
i was a 7th grader and this shit makes 0 sense but it's funny asf now

Because when i was younger i love dross rotzank videos and dalas review made a colaboration video with him. Thats all xD

i made a yt channel called bernian mapper back in 2018, with bernian being a combination of my last name and the common -ian suffix that is used for most countries (i.e canadian, argentinian) which tied in with the whole mapper idea, name stuck with me since then.
mapper channels naturally being those guys who make those "history of x country/continent in x time period" videos with epic music in the background (ftr i never made a video in that channel it got discontinued pretty quickly).
shortened to bern because i was tired of people saying my irl name was ian.
fun fact now that i remember my super-old OC countryball that i made for that channel (literally called bernian) had blue and green colors with a yellow star in the middle, this resembles cramorant so much it's uncanny ngl.

My name is Christian and my favorite number is 8 which is the infinity symbol if you tilt it 90 degrees. My username is a reminder of the infinite number of ways I can be great.

Nocturne Nugget, cause my alias used to be Stoopid Nugget on most platforms but I didn't like that name, I changed it to Nocturne cause my name is Leila which means night in Arabic, and Nocturne sorta continues the night theme, plus its alliteration and has a nice ring to it

My name Ineros is a combination of 2 words:
Inhaler, which is what I used to go by because at the time I made it I was a huge Kirby fan and I wanted to represent that. Also was a fan of doing that one stupid cheese trick in smash bros where you just inhale people off the stage when I first started playing that game lol, that was the main inspiration.
Then Eros, which is the Greek god of love. Personally a fan of what Greek myth is all about as it’s pretty entertaining to read with all the interesting characters and stories attached to it, and I wanted to at least seem as a helpful / kind person on the site (I’m trying even though it may not appear so on occasion I promise) so I chose it to represent those things.

Millie is a shortening of my name (Amelia). Back in the day I used to be apart of a competitive Pokemon clan called the "Blast Burners" or "BBers". The clan has more-or-less officially dissolved around five years ago, but I wanted to honor them by using another BB abbreviation. Bubble Beam also happens to be my favorite move from a "thematic" perspective.
My name used to be ZeroTheHero, and then I just decided to switch to this one a few years ago. I don't remember why I probably just thought of it and thought it sounded cool, may have been my hatred of math.

when i was much younger, i went by "8-bit ninja" online. it's about as juvenile as it gets -- i liked retro games and shonen anime.
a bit later, i had grown out of it. instead of coming up with something entirely new, i considered just shortening it to "eight", because i realized that if i had a favorite number, that was it. instead, i chose "ocho" (it means eight in spanish) because at the time, i had been studying spanish for 2 years and was actually really enjoying the learning process -- something which doesn't happen very often for me
unfortunately, i stopped consistent study of the language many years ago now and am not yet conversational in it (thanks, covid-era depression), but i hope i can rectify that at some point.
