Oldgen councils obviously don't have the same activity expectations as any current gen council, but they still come in handy precisely for stuff like this and whenever the community wanna discuss other elements e.g Volcarona, Manaphy, Mega Sableye etc. as you mentioned above. Renewing council members shouldn't be a harder process than having a discussion with current council and OGC leadership, at least imo. That's pretty much all I can say on that matter, as I'm not in charge of tiering and have basically zero influence in establishing oldgen councils

Announcement Thread '"Hax" items and Evasion abilities banned in ORAS OU'

Following renewed discussion on this topic and knowing that the abilities Sand Veil and Snow Cloak fall under evasion clause and are banned in every other generation except for SM and similar bans on "hax" items like King's Rock and Quick Claw have happened in other tiers, a survey of the qualified ORAS playerbase was conducted to determine whether these elements should be deemed uncompetitive and banned in ORAS OU.

These are the requirements and results of the survey:

1) 6+ games or 3+ wins in SPL:
Garay oak, lighthouses, London Beats, pj, Poek, Ruffles, Santu
