:Chingling:
Pokemon: Jingold (Jingle Bells inspiration)
Typing: Normal / Steel
Stat Spread: 130 / 45 / 70 / 105 / 85 / 20 (BST: 455)
Ability: The Wheel of Merry
This Pokemon's primary type rotates between Normal, Fire, Grass, and Fairy at the end of every turn.
Randomly, or always in that order? Does it remember what it is when switching out/in?

:xurkitree:
Pokemon: Xurkitree-Festive
(Xurkitree, but its wires are green instead of black, and its "zip ties" are a variety of colors - red, green, blue, yellow, purple, etc.)
Typing: Electric / Grass
Stats: 113 / 79 / 113 / 137 / 71 / 57 (570 BST)
Ability: Beast Boost / Grassy Surge (Hidden Ability)
Moves:
Physical: Branch Poke, Bullet Seed, Horn Leech, Power Whip, Razor Leaf, Sappy Seed, Seed Bomb, Vine Whip, Nuzzle, Spark, Supercell Slam, Thunder Punch, Wild Charge, Zing Zap, Bind, Brick Break, Brutal Swing, Explosion, Facade, Feint, Fling, Foul Play, Giga Impact, Knock Off, Metal Burst, Metal Claw, Poison Jab, Pound, Psycho Cut, Self-Destruct, Slam, Slash, Wrap, X-Scissor
Special: Absorb, Chloroblast, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Grass Knot, Leaf Storm, Magical Leaf, Mega Drain, Solar Beam, Charge Beam, Discharge, Electroweb, Parabolic Charge, Rising Voltage, Shock Wave, Thunder Cage, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Zap Cannon, Ancient Power, Aurora Beam, Confusion, Dazzling Gleam, Earth Power, Extrasensory, Flash Cannon, Focus Blast, Hyper Beam, Mirror Coat, Mystical Fire, Power Gem, Psybeam, Psychic, Psychic Noise, Psyshock, Shadow Ball, Swift, Tera Blast, Terrain Pulse
Status: Grassy Terrain, Ingrain, Leech Seed, Sleep Powder, Strength Sap, Stun Spore, Synthesis, Worry Seed, Charge, Eerie Impulse, Electrify, Thunder Wave, Block, Calm Mind, Coil, Confuse Ray, Disable, Encore, Endure, Focus Energy, Gravity, Growth, Guard Split, Guard Swap, Hypnosis, Imprison, Leer, Light Screen, Magic Room, Metronome, Pain Split, Poison Powder, Power Split, Power Swap, Protect, Rage Powder, Rain Dance, Recycle, Rest, Safeguard, Simple Beam, Skill Swap, Substitute, Sunny Day, Tail Glow, Trick Room, Wonder Room

Description: Even the... anomalies of Ultra Space deserve a little bit of festive representation! Anyways, this guy is a big attacker whose bulk, access to reliable recovery (Synthesis and Strength Sap), and Grassy Terrain let it stick around for an annoyingly large time, despite a rather underwhelming defensive typing. Electric and Grass work quite well as a STAB combo, with Grass coverage sniping the Grounds that would otherwise block its Electric STAB, and Electric coverage in turn sniping Flyings and overall providing strong neutral coverage. Beyond its STABs, its offensive movepool isn't too bad, letting it cover a variety of types pretty decently.

Pokemon: Tinselkie
Type: Ice/Ghost
Base Stats: 55/60/85/114/121/135
Abilities: Freeze Out (If this Pokemon is at full HP at the start of a turn and is knocked out by attack damage, the Pokemon which knocked it out loses 1 stage in both Attack and Special Attack.)/Perish Body/Own Tempo
Notable Moves: Ice Beam, Freeze Dry, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Flip Turn, Spikes, Destiny Bond, Calm Mind
Full Movepool: Blizzard, Freeze Dry, Ice Beam, Powder Snow, Icy Wind, Triple Axel, Icicle Spear, Ice Shard, Sheer Cold, Shadow Ball, Night Shade, Poltergeist, Phantom Force, Astonish, Shadow Sneak, Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Surf, Chilling Water, Water Gun, Aqua Tail, Flip Turn, Aqua Jet, Gust, Dual Wingbeat, Wing Attack, Tera Blast, Swift, Hyper Beam, Tail Slap, Giga Impact, Haze, Mist, Snowscape, Destiny Bond, Memento, Calm Mind, Agility, Rest, Decorate, Charm, Metronome, Pain Split, Disable, Perish Song
Overview: Better Froslass, at least in theory. High Speed and decent Special Attack allows it to maybe score a kill or so, and its abilities and support movepool allow it to slow opposing Pokemon down, thereby giving its teammates a better shot at victory once it goes down.

:tropius:
Pokemon: Jollibus (jolly + jubilee + tropius)
Type: Grass/Fairy
Base Stats: 109/78/123/102/87/41 (+10 HP, +10 Atk, +30 Def, +30 SpA, +10 SpDef, -10 Spe on evolving) (540 BST)
Abilities: Ice Body/Warm Welcome (HA: Harvest)
Thick Fat clone. Attacks used by this Pokemon on its first turn out deal 1.2x damage.
Added Moves: see pre-evolution, Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Recycle
Overview: A larger, rounder, and older Tropius-Holly, with a larger "beard" of pine needles and holly berries.. Unlike its pre-evolution, it tends to remain fairly still and restful. Many wonder what it ponders as it rests in the home during a snowstorm.

Competitively, this is designed to have two roles: be a bulky physical wall using its good defensive typing and signature ability, or be a powerful wallbreaker/revenge killer using the offensive value of Warm Welcome. Defensively, it carries reliable recovery in Synthesis and Moonlight, can chip with Toxic and Leech Seed, and carries Defog to remove without being Rocks-weak. It also has access to U-Turn.

Offensively, it carries burst power which synergizes with Choice items. It also has very clickable STAB moves in Giga Drain/Leaf Storm and Moonblast. However, it's horribly slow with its only one priority move in First Impression, which, while synergistic, is not STAB and uses Jollibus's weaker attack stat. Jollibus notably struggles into Poison- and Steel-types due to lacking any meaningful coverage. For Poison-types, you're relying on Ice-type moves or Zen Headbutt (which uses the weaker stat), and for Steels, you do get Mystical Fire, but this is a 75BP non-STAB move--it will hit specially frail Steels decently hard but will bounce off of proper walls:

+1 252+ SpA Charcoal Mew Mystical Fire vs. 56 HP / 188 SpD Melmetal: 304-358 (71.5 - 84.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Charcoal to represent the 20% boost, +1 for Choice Specs--this is the hardest Jollibus can reasonably hit a Steel-type. Enough to break if you get the switch right, but not so strong to be unreasonable or have no switch ins (remember Melmetal has base 65 SpDef.

Type: Grass/Fairy
Base Stats: 99/68/93/72/77/51 (+10 Def, -10 SpDef)
Abilities: Ice Body/Heatproof (HA: Harvest)
Added Moves: Alluring Voice, Aromatic Mist, Blizzard, Dazzling Gleam, Decorate, Disarming Voice, First Impression, Floral Healing, Frost Breath, Hail, Haze, Needle Arm, Ice Beam, Ice Shard, Icy Wind, Misty Terrain, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Play Rough, Powder Snow, Present, Snowscape, Sweet Kiss
Removed Moves: Air Cutter, Air Slash, Brutal Swing, Earthquake, Fury Cutter, Giga Impact, Gust, Hurricane, Hyper Beam, Ominous Wind, Outrage, Razor Wind, Silver Wing, Steel Wing
Overview: A jollier forme of Tropius with a wreath of holly around its neck. It bears shorter wings that resemble large pine needles, which cover its chest and back. Its brown skin is darker and its toes are red to match the berries on its wreath.

Candaleste

Candle Witch Pokemon
(Sub-Legendary)

Typing: Fighting/Fire
Stats: 80 HP / 110 ATK / 100 DEF / 115 Sp. ATK / 85 Sp. DEF / 65 SPE (555 BST)

Abilities: Magician / Flash Fire // Justified

Unique Item: Eternal Votive
If the holder is Candaleste, its Fire and Fighting-type attacks have 1.2x power. This item can’t be knocked off.

Dex Entries:
“The magical flames on its candles shine as brightly as its conviction, becoming the weapon through which Candaleste uses to enact this sense of “justice”. Beneath warm and exultant sunlight, the light that is reflected by its exalted flame can burn away all sins…”

“Once it has set its sight on anything that dares to intrude upon its domain, it will not cease its attack until all its flames are spent… In ancient times, it was once believed that those who are free from sin would not be burned by Candaleste’s flames, so they were used to judge the accused.”

i wanted to make a pokemon based on a candelabra decoration (since sometimes they’re also used as christmas decorations too)... i intended for it to be a knock off absorber that can boost with justified after getting hit and hit back for lots of damage, but it can also be a setup special attacker with calm mind, and it can probably use mixed attacking sets fairly decently as well

Abilities: Run Away / Prankster / Quick Feet

Notable Moves:

: Alluring Voice, Discharge, Grass Knot, Moonblast, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
1765337851350.png
: Encore, Light Screen, Moonlight, Nasty Plot, Psycho Shift, Reflect, Sing, Thunder Wave, Toxic

Competitive Use: Can be used as a fast support mon with Prankster and a wide pool of support moves including Screens, Moonlight, and Encore. Alternatively, it can fill a more offensive role with Quick Feet Nasty Plot and a deadly STAB combo of Electric/Fairy. Psycho Shift synergizes well with this set by being able to transfer self-inflicted status to the opponent.

Description:
Padoru meme-themed Pachirisu, can be used as a decoration, though its constant cry of “PADORU PADORU” drives many of its trainers mad.

Base Stats (Mega): 100 HP / 164 Atk / 120 Def / 95 SpAtk / 150 SpDef / 71 Spe / 700 BST
Abilities: Ginger Stream, (Hidden) Sturdy, (Mega) Ginger Stream
Pokédex Entries:
  • Santa Red Edition: If it rampages, it knocks down gingerbread houses and buries candy cane forests. Maps must be redrawn afterward.
  • Pine Green Edition: The quakes caused when it walks make even great gingerbread cities crumble and change the surrounding terrain.
Moves:
  • SpecialIC_HGSS.png
    Inferno, Heat Wave
  • PhysicalIC_HGSS.png
Raging Fury, Flare Blitz, Flame Charge
  • StatusIC_HGSS.png
    Spicy Extract, Will-O-Wisp, Gingerstorm
Additionally receives all moves which Tyranitar learns.

New Weather:
Gingerstorm: This weather is spicy! All Pokémon take 1/16th of their maximum HP at the end of the turn except for fire types. Burned Pokémon take 1/8th of their maximum HP at the end of the turn instead. Fire (and maybe ground) types are immune to the damage from gingerstorms. Fire types receive 1.5x physical defense inside of the weather condition.

Description:
Gingertar is a Tyranitar made from gingerbread that ravages gingerbread towns and cities. They are now a fire and dark type, which is quite potent offensively. They provide a unique form of weather control (maybe other submissions down the line can build on it?) that acts similar to sandstorm, but for fire types. Otherwise, this is your basic Tyranitar, doing everything that this amazing Pokémon has been doing since generation 2.

At the end of every turn, check your list to see if the opposing pokémon is naughty or nice.
If the opposing pokémon has dealt, throughout the match, at least 50% of Delibird-True's max HP as direct damage, they are NAUGHTY. Otherwise, they are NICE.
Deals 1.3x damage to NAUGHTY pokémon and 0.75x damage to NICE pokémon.

Christmas Gift effect:
If target is NAUGHTY, 100% acc 110 BP special fairy move that combines fire in its type effectiveness (like flying press). Otherwise, does nothing.

Fluff:
The Christmas spirit has awakened Delibird's true form! It rewards the nice pokémon with amazing gifts and punishes the naughty ones by throwing a Coalossal on them.

Pokémon: Cramorant-present (form of Cramorant)

Typing:

Ability: Present Delivery: Functions similar to gulp missile, after using a flying move Cramorant becomes Cramorant-present form and has a present in its mouth, while hit by a move in this form it damages the opponent for 40bp normal physical move 30% of the time, 80bp normal physical move 20%, 120bp normal physical move 10% of the time or heals itself (Cramorant-present) for 1/4th of its max hp 20% of the time. Then it reverts from Cramorant-present form back to Cramorant, TLDR: Cramorant gorging but instead of arrokuda/pikachu its presents, and flying move instead of surf/dive

Type: Fire/Ice

New Move: Coal Flurry; 30% Burn chance [

100% Acc, 85 BP, Fire, Pulse-move]

Magmortar-Festive can be either a formidable Mega Launcher wall breaker with Coal Flurry, or use snow to become a very fast clean up mon with Blizzard, Fire blast + Thunderbolt. Chilly reception and defog add additional depth to the mon, not to mention magmortar's base move set. (Just ignore the fact it can try to go for a physical sweep as well, I'm sure that won't come up later)

Description: With its red nose, it leads Delibird's sleigh through the sky on Christmas night. It's just an average special attacker with strong STAB Moonblast being backed by Earth Power for excellent coverage and options like Trick or Calm Mind depending on if you're going for a choiced set or not. Levitate allows it to avoid Spikes and Ground moves and it has some useful resists allowing it to switch in, although it's not overly bulky.

After a Christmas season ends, it sheds all its Christmas attire to get more movement for the winter and reverts back to a normal Appletun.

Pokémon: Gourgeist-Frozen Over (Note: This gourgeist doesn't have any of the size differences the normal one has.)

Typing: Ice/Poison

Base Stats: 100 / 104 / 80 / 50 / 125 / 35 (BST: 494)

Abilities: Liquid Ooze, Perish Body, (Gooey)

Relevant Moves:

Special.png
: Ice Beam, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball

Status.png
: Toxic, Leech Seed, Strength Sap, Will-O-Wisp, Curse, Trick-No-Treat, [Trick-Or-Treat]

Signature Move: Trick-No-Treat
Poison Type
90 Accuracy
Status Move
Makes Gourgeist gain the ghost typing, then transforms the foe into Pumpkaboo-Frozen Over for 1 turn (Pumpkabo-Frozen Over: 56 / 80 / 45 / 49 / 75 / 30 (BST: 335), Ice/Poison, always has the ability that Gourgeist has, the opponent keeps the same moveset they had before transforming). On top of this, if Gourgeist faints after gaining the ghost type, it will come back as a regular Pumpkaboo-Small at 25% HP. However using Trick-No-Treat gives the target +1 in all stats apart from acc/eva, and the stat boost the opponent gets does stay after they are no longer Pumpkaboo. Also, Gourgeist must sacrifice 50% Hp to use this move(if they are under 50% then it fails).

Looks: Oh no! Someone left out their Gourgeist for too long, way past Halloween! Now it's all rotten and yucky and covered in ice!

Description: Bulky with chip damage in Toxic, Leech Seed and Curse, as well as healing with Leech Seed and Strength Sap. Also packs a decent punch with 105 attack, as well as moves like gunk shot and icicle crash. Might run Leftovers, or maybe Life Orb. I could even see a gimmicky set with like Mirror Herb where it could copy the foe's stat boosts when it uses Trick-No-Treat (That might actually be a bit op).

Flavor Description: Mudsdale but they're now santa's sleight (only thing i could think of that could be christmas-related and Steel-type)
Description:
Real fast offensive support guy. Both Ground- and Steel-type seem to be very uncommon types among submissions, and both of these are among some of the most important types for a meta imo, so i wanted to bring in a mon that could help with the type representation. Gets pivoting, both Spikes and Stealth Rock, paired with a really fast Taunt for Defog mons, and it can become a very effective hazard setter for the meta. Offensively it also isn't too bad, while 105Atk may seem a bit lacking, it more than compensates for its good STAB moves, and amazing speed. Type also works decently well defensively, which is great for a pivot, as its 4-times resistant to Stealth Rocks, can pivot into both Electric- and Poison-type moves, which can be helpful for blocking things like Volt Switch or a mon attempting to Toxic spread. Bulk is somewhat lacking, and doesn't have a real ability.
