Pokemon: Leavanny-Festive
Type: Bug/Grass
Stats: 75/103/70/75/70/108
Abilities: Aroma Veil/Slush Rush/Snow Cloak
Signature Move: Holiday Preparation
- Type: Ice
- Classification: Status
- Accuracy: --
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: The user switches out to prepare to decorate the battlefield. The next time it switches in, it gains the Ice typing and +1 Attack.
Added Moves: Holiday Preparation, Ice Spinner, Drill Run, Hone Claws, Snowscape, Sweet Kiss, Wrap
Removed Moves: Sunny Day, Iron Defense
Overview: I made a variant of Leavanny because it probably made those socks you got for Christmas that you were definitely thankful for. Anyway the point of the signature is to loop it with a slow Chilly Reception user so it can come in with Slush Rush boosting its Speed allowing it to escape from the inevitable Fire type to repeat the cycle. Worst comes to worst it has Webs.

Pokémon: Gourgeist-Frozen Over (Note: This gourgeist doesn't have any of the size differences the normal one has.)

Typing: Ice/Poison

Base Stats: 100 / 104 / 80 / 50 / 125 / 35 (BST: 494)

Abilities: Liquid Ooze, Perish Body, (Gooey)

Relevant Moves:
Physical.png
:Icicle Crash, Ice Spinner, Ice Shard, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Cross Poison, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Power Whip, Rock Slide, [Frustration]

Special.png
: Ice Beam, Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball

Status.png
: Toxic, Leech Seed, Strength Sap, Will-O-Wisp, Curse, Trick-No-Treat, [Trick-Or-Treat]

Signature Move: Trick-No-Treat
Poison Type
90 Accuracy
Status Move
Makes Gourgeist gain the ghost typing, then transforms the foe into Pumpkaboo-Frozen Over for 1 turn (Pumpkabo-Frozen Over: 56 / 80 / 45 / 49 / 75 / 30 (BST: 335), Ice/Poison, always has the ability that Gourgeist has, the opponent keeps the same moveset they had before transforming). On top of this, if Gourgeist faints after becoming gaining the ghost type, it will come back as a regular Pumpkaboo-Small at 25% HP. However using Trick-No-Treat gives the target +1 in all stats apart from acc/eva, and the stat boost the opponent gets does stay after they are no longer Pumpkaboo. Also, Gourgeist must sacrifice 50% Hp to use this move(if they are under 50% then it fails).

Looks: Oh no! Someone left out their Gourgeist for too long, way past Halloween! Now it's all rotten and yucky and covered in ice!

Description: Bulky with chip damage in Toxic, Leech Seed and Curse, as well as healing with Leech Seed and Strength Sap. Also packs a decent punch with 105 attack, as well as moves like gunk shot and icicle crash. Might run Leftovers, or maybe Life Orb. I could even see a gimmicky set with like Mirror Herb where it could copy the foe's stat boosts when it uses Trick-No-Treat (That might actually be a bit op).
Devs are going to love to code this

Pokemon: Chandelight (Alternatively, Strobedelure, or just Chandelure-Festive if prefered)
Type: Ghost/Electric
Base Stats:
80 HP / 55 Atk / 90 Def / 145 Spa / 90 Spd / 60 Spe = 520 BST
Ability: Static, Lightning Rod, HA: Infiltrator

Moves:
All of Chandelure's Movepool, except for its Fire Moves (except for Will-o-Wisp, and Sunny Day)

  • ATTACK.png
    :
Wild Charge, Power Whip, Supercell Slam, Wrap, Spark
  • SPECIAL.png
    :
Strobelight Squeeze, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Mirror Shot, Volt Switch
  • STATUS.png
    :
    Thunder Wave, Charge, Electric Terrain,
Removed Moves: All of Chandelure's Fire Moves (except for Will-o-Wisp, and Sunny Day). And depending on balancing maybe Energy Ball as well.

New Move: Strobelight Squeeze: Literally just an Electric Type version of Fire Spin.

Very much, still a Special Wallbreaker like Chandelure, but it mixes some Xurkitree-like elements in it, and focuses slightly more on trapping moves.

It is said that, once upon a time, by soaring through the Milky Way and adorning itself with starlight, it shone gloriously and guided three ancient kings through the night…”

“According to people who have claimed to have seen this Pokemon firsthand, it is said to bear a certain resemblance to the sweet dreams from the crescent moon, and the nightmares from the new moon. Apparently, shortly after it was discovered, an extremely bright star appeared in the night sky that mysteriously drove people to follow it.”

it’s based on the christmas star and like how it guided people in the myth, so i tried to make it into a past paradox forme of cresselia and darkrai and incorporate parts of both pokemon (similar to like iron valiant)… but competitively it’s a fast utility pokemon that can take a few hits and status or pivot, and its typing is pretty great offensively too, so i think it should be a pretty good glue mon for how much utility it has :p

Abilities: Symbiosis / Unburden (Giftsgiving)
Stats: 75/100/75/60/75/120

: Substitute, Protect, Endure, Sleep Talk, Rest, Defog, Tailwind, Trick, Stockpile, Work Up, Hone Claws, Bestow, Recycle, Baton Pass, Charm, Helping Hand, Swagger, Detect, Heal Bell, FollowMe.

Flavor: The season of giving, and more properly, Exchanging gifts, as implied by a Raccoon with Flying Squirrel aspects that also kinda invokes Robin Hood? It travels the world at high speeds, nabbing goodies from the privileged to give to those in need or those who seek it. They often find themselves sticking around the houses in the case that one of the humans there gives them food.
Role: Pretty much an Unburden sweeper, but it can also be a VERY funky disruptor with Giftsgiving basically giving you a free trick, meaning it can run ANY item without consequences.

Giftsgiving: Once per-battle, The user uses the move "Trick" on switch-in.

Kittemitt Large.png

I was originally going to make a sprite but it's too hard :sob: so I gave up. No color today because my art supplies are packed. I'll be home Saturday!
EDIT: I GOT THE SPRITE DONE

Pokémon: Kittemitt
Type:
GhostIC_Big.png
IceIC_Big.png

Base Stats:
75 HP / 65 Atk / 90 Def / 107 SpAtk / 65 SpDef / 113 Spe / 515 BST
Abilities: Clear Body, Unburden, (Hidden) Ballistic

New Ability:
Ballistic: Boosts the power of ball and bomb moves by 1.3x, while halving the damage taken from them. A bit worse defensively than Bulletproof while offering some offense.

Pokédex Entries:
  • Santa Red Edition: At a young age, Kittemitt search for discarded mittens to enhance their ghostly powers and become apex predators. They excel at snowball fights, but are often disqualified from sport for the danger they impose.
  • Pine Green Edition: These critters take lumps of coal and sharpened carrots to form a deadly snowball. They lob the projectile at unsuspecting foes using discarded mittens, controlled by ghostly powers.
Moves:
  • SpecialIC_HGSS.png
Shadow Ball, Weather Ball, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hex, Night Shade, Icy Wind
  • PhysicalIC_HGSS.png
Seed Bomb, Bullet Seed, Icicle Crash, Phantom Force, Play Rough, Ice Fang, Ice Shard, Bite, Lick, Astonish
  • StatusIC_HGSS.png
Nasty Plot, Curse, Disable, Pain Split, Snowscape, Haze, Spite, Tar Shot
More moves can be added like the universal moves, but these are the most important ones

Description:
What's better for the winter season than a good snowball fight? I myself don't celebrate Christmas but love playing in the snow, even if it's a bit chilly lol. I originally had the idea of a giant snowball being hurled by disembodied mittens, but struggled with where to take the design from there. I ultimately settled on the idea of a mischievous cat that stole the pair of mittens as a way to hold and lob projectiles. Kittemitt combines kitten and mitten. They are a fast special attacker, with passable physical bulk granted to through the use of their snowball as a shield. Ghost and ice offers an amazing stab combination, fitting for this Pokémon's role. Though Kittemitt has poor bulk, they can rely on Nasty Plot to facilitate a sweep. Choice Specs and Choice Scarf will make for great items as well, both granting immediate power rather than having to setup. Any item easily lost or consumed will work wonders with Unburden.

Clear Body is an ability meant to represent Kittemitt's ghostly body. It probably won't see much use and is the worst of the three abilities that Kittemitt has access to. Unburden is because they're a fast cat, an ability shared with Liepard. Kittemitt is already quite fast, and doubling their speed means that almost nothing will outspeed them. It also synergizes well with Kittemitt's ghost typing, as with no held item you will take reduced damamge from Knock Off, and no damage from Poltergeist, both of which hit Kittemitt for super effective damage. Ballistic is thematic with the giant snowball that is about to kill you :3. The main move that will benefit from this is Shadow Ball, a move that Kittemitt will already be spamming. It's also part of the reason why I went with ghost as the primary typing instead of something like psychic or dark. Weather Ball will also be very strong on snow teams, rivaling the damage output of Blizzard.

Edited to add sprite.

Pokemon: Polteageist-Festive
Type: Ground / Fairy
Base Stats:
78 HP / 68 Atk / 112 Def / 122 Spa / 65 Spd / 63 Spe - 508 BST
Abilities: Gooey / Sweet veil / Well-baked body

Dex entry: This rare Polteageist variant possess certain relics found in ancient ruins, becoming one with the dirt, mud and gemstones found inside. They have been documented taunting relic hunters with their strong, sweet chocolatey aroma, leading them in circles for hours before dissapearing without a trace.

Moves:
[Base Polteageist moveset minus all ghost moves & Will-o-wisp]

Relevant Moves:
1765461632007.png
: Body press, Foul play
1765460880017.png
: Earth power, Moonblast,
Draining kiss, Power gem, Psychic, Dark pulse
1765461022341.png
:
Shell smash, Strength sap, Stealth rock, Spikes, Trick room, Reflect, Light screen, Follow me, Wish, Memento

Polteageist-Festive may have lost 12 points in its special attack, but considering its newly improved bulk (and strength sap, of course), this mon should be able to both take and dish out good damage. To balance this newfound versatility I nerfed its speed by seven points, though the speed doubling shell smash should provide plenty to make up for this shortfall. It now also has several new supportive options.

Pokémon: Exeggnostic
Typing: Grass/Ground
Stats: 65/90/75/40/60/70 (400)
Abilities: Chlorophyll/Harvest (Skepticism)
IS Eviolite compatible
New moves: Earthquake, Bulldoze, Stomping Tantrum, Spikes
Also gets Exeggcute's SV movepool, with the exception of the Psychic-type moves, Curse and Ancient Power

Description:
World's unfunniest pun just dropped
It's 4x weak to
Ice because it doesn't like snow, I guess. Or somtehing. whatever man

Takes 15% less damage from Special attacks and 30% less from Fairy moves (doesn't stack)

In the form it says submissions plural, does that mean we can vote multiple things?

Also here is my submission:

Screenshot 2025-12-11 192840.png

Pokémon: Sudowoodo-Yule

Typing: Fairy/None

Base Stats: 80 / 90 / 20 / 20 / 80 / 120 (BST: 410)

Abilities: Grassy Surge, Misty Surge, (Choco Surge)

Choco Surge: Sets up Chocolate Terrain, Bolstering Fairy type moves by 30% and also giving fairy and grass types a sugar rush, boosting their speed by 30%. Ice types, however, have their speed lowered by 50%. Also leftovers and berries cannot give any healing, as the chocolate flavour is too strong and contaminates them.

Relevant Moves:
Physical.png

:Play Rough, Spirit Break, Grassy Glide, Trailblaze, Wood Hammer, Zen Headbutt, Close Combat, Brick Break, Ice Punch, Flare Blitz, Fire Punch

Special.png

: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Psychic, Psyshock, Energy ball, Flamethrower

Status.png

: Misty Terrain, Chocolate Terrain (sets up chocolate terrain), Grassy Terrain, Sticky Web, Memento, Taunt, Parting Shot

Looks: It's Sudowoodo but instead of being a rock pretending to be a tree, it's a yule log cake pretending to be a tree. Yule logs are kinda more to do with christmas in the modern day, but like traditionally it's to do more with Yule and Yule isn't christmas so imo this counts. (not fully sure if it does).

Description: Fast physical sweeper, with access to sticky web too. Its chocolate terrain is good to get that extra damage off and also the speed boost is good for some Pokemon. Plus weakening ice types is good, as there are a lot of ice type submissions currently. Could maybe run life orb for that extra damage, or perhaps even choice band. Assault vest is also an option too I guess. Although I feel like it's best to run life orb so that it can use some of its good status moves.

Pokémon: Heatray
Type:
Steel.png
Fire.png

Base Stats: 91 / 90 / 116 / 120 / 116 / 67 [BST: 600]
Abilities: Well-Baked Body / Flame Body | Light Metal
Relevant Moves:
Physical.png
: Body Press, Explosion, Flame Charge
Special.png
: Cookie Storm, Overheat, Flamethrower, Lava Plume, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Scorching Sands
Status.png
: Milk Drink, Stealth Rock, Roar, Aromatherapy, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Iron Defense
Type:
Fire.png

Classification:
Special.png

Power: 95
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 5 [8 max]
Effects: The foe is pelted with cookies, fresh from the oven! For the next 5 turns, all Pokemon restore 1/16 HP at the end of the turn and using Milk Drink cures status conditions.
Heatran's Natdex movepool except:
ADDING Milk Drink, Cookie Storm, Aromatherapy, Yawn, Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Decorate, Bestow
REMOVING Eruption, Magma Storm, Taunt, Dark Pulse, Torment, Payback, Stone Edge
Description: A more defensive Heatran that can easily heal itself to act as a long-term wall. Its signature move helps the opponent too, but that's what the season is all about, right?
Flavor: This Pokemon has precise control over its body heat. It often directs this heat to the metallic plate on its back, allowing it to bake delicious cookies for its friends. Its mitt-like feet can also be reshaped to cut unique designs from dough.

Shaymin-Candyland
Type: Grass
Base stats: 100/100/100/100/100/100(600)
Ability’s: Serene Grace/Berry Bush*
Moves: Shaymin Moveset + Candy Crush**+ Decorate

Description: Base form of Shaymin. Pretty much the same not much special yet. (There will be more in like an hour.)

*Berry bush: Compound Eyes + When an enemy makes contact it steals berries.
**Candy Crush: 80bp/Candy Type/15pp/100acc
Works like relic song with the changing effect. Cycles in between sky and land form when uses move. Uses highest attack stat. Candy type is super effective against Ghost, Psychic and Dragon and is weak to Poison, Fire and Ground. Resists Rock, Ghost and Psychic. Not very effective against Poison and Fire.

-After using candy crush

Shaymin-Sky-Candyland
Types: Grass-Candy
Base Stats: 100/90/75/133/75/127(600)
Ability: Berry Bush
Moves: Same as Shaymin-CandyLand-base.

Description: (Lore for both Shaymin here) This form of Shaymin is only found in the region of Candyland. When it reacts with the red Spearmint plant that grows there, it changes form to its sky form. Not much is known about these Pokémon, other than their competence in battle. Legends tell that on Christmas Day, if it saw anyone town not celebrating Christmas, it would play tricks on the townspeople by leaving bushels of Holly suspended in the air to bind people into romantic situations. This made the towns people call it Cupids Arrow.

Notes: this Pokémon cannot be sent out as the sky form and only obtains it once it uses Candy Crush. I think I over cooked with this one.

Flavor: Humans all around the world gather and meet for the holiday season as a way to spend time with family. The Maus are no different, in the holiday season they gather up together to celebrate and bestow gifts on each other. However, be warned that anyone who breaks up this celebration might be in for a rude surprise.

Role: A buffed version of maushold that provides strength and utility at the cost of no recovery and a ticking timer, with the new typing and upgraded stats maushold can finally do a better job at being a hazard remover and setup sweeper balanced by the fact that it loses technician and that if you want to use population bomb you have to watch out for hazards chip ruining your chances

Abilities: Stirring Soup (This Pokemon and its allies cannot fall asleep or be frozen.)/Heatproof/Gluttony
Relevant Moves: Gyro Ball, Body Press, Rapid Spin, Salt Cure, Super Fang, Curse, Recycle, Will-o-Wisp, Aromatherapy
All Moves: Gyro Ball, Spin Out, Iron Head, Iron Tail, Flash Cannon, Steel Beam, Fire Punch, Fire Fang, Heat Wave, Fire Spin, Scald, Body Press, Circle Throw, Salt Cure, Lick, Bite, Hyper Fang, Super Fang, Smelling Salts, Spit Up, Cut, Tera Blast, Metal Sound, Will-o-Wisp, Life Dew, Aromatherapy, Spicy Extract, Curse, Recycle, Stockpile, Swallow, Substitute, Tail Whip, Work Up, Sharpen
Overview: When Christmas is but another day, the mouse will stir all the same. But it will make its warm soup, and that I feel works since it is a good way to be cozy around the holidays no matter who you are. It can hopefully deal with opponents via various chip methods or with Curse Gyro Ball. Recycle Gluttony can bring back pinch berries to keep it healthy enough to function while it works.

Description:
Strong stallbreaker. While it's got a middling defensive type, as well as not an amazing bulk and speed, it makes up for it with the absurd strength of Malignant Chain + Merciless, allowing it to break past most defensive cores as long as it can poison them. Also has a bit more stuff going on for it, like a decent amount of coverage, and good utility options like Taunt, Disable, and Trick for disruption, self-healing, and Toxic if you fear the 50% chance of Malignant Chain too much.

Description: Inspired by a dragon puppet such as the ones often displayed during the chinese new year, Festiwyrm, is a bright, serpent-like dragon that appears in times of good fortune or celebration. It serves as a Torch Song wallbreaker and potentially an endgame threat thanks to its signature move, Firework Shot. Between its high Special Attack, Torch Song, Draco Meteor and its wide coverage with options such as Energy Ball or Thunderbolt, Festiwyrm proves very difficult to wall. However, its low Speed and inability to heal make it vulnerable to faster offensive threats and mean you can't be careless with it. Firework Shot adds an interesting new layer to it however, being able to finish off weakened foes and being fairly threatening with Special Attack boosts. This culminates in a major offensive threat with a high skill ceiling, as keeping it healthy and setting up the right conditions to sweep with Firework Shot may require some effort.
