Thread title speaks for itself. I want to go to bed but my brain and my body both haven’t been tired enough to let me. Where I come from I usually refer to these things as “special interests”, but since I don’t feel like getting into the politics of that particular phrase here, I’m just going to post some of my more extremely specific likes and dislikes to get this things started and see what kinds of shenanigans unfold.

bdt2002 Really, really likes:
  • Anything cherry flavored, and I do mean literally anything I’ve tried so long as it’s not alcoholic or actively detrimental to my health
  • Sitting on the exact middle point of the couch even when I could sit towards the side just as easily
  • Laying on my left side when I sleep as opposed to on my back on the right side because it feels less stiff and apparently it’s actually healthier to do that too (unrelated, but I also actually prefer warm pillows over cold pillows, psychotic I know)
  • The music/soundtrack for both underwater levels and beach levels in video games, especially those from platformers and exploration games
  • The number 20, since for whatever reason this number keeps popping up in the most coincidentally strange places and ways with personal significance to me
Dislikes:
  • Getting shots at the doctor’s office, but is somehow perfectly fine with getting blood drawn and also the rare surgery
  • The majority of seafood at a restaurant, excluding basic things like a fish filet sandwich
  • Getting the football picked off at the one yard line in the Super Bowl (if you know, you know)
  • Streaming and subscription services but specifically only for television and movies, it’s not ideal for people that prefer physical video games but so far I’ve never had issues with it individually
  • When Pokémon are given access to moves, Abilities, and other mechanics that were formerly signature for other Pokémon and thus were not designed with the buffed Pokémon in mind (Hidden Abilities for Starter Pokémon was one of the objectively worst ideas of all time)

When my coffee machine has fulfilled its duty, there's still droplets falling from it. These droplets stain.

I feel genuine hate towards that

I dunno if this would count, but I really enjoy drawing really crappy drawings with a pen during school, not a pencil. If I draw with a pencil I feel like I hafta erase part of my drawing and redraw it so its "perfect", but if I draw with a pen I cant erase my drawing so Im ok with my drawings being crappy

The Third Degree.
It looks nice, sounds nice when you beat people to death with it, and also encourages me to follow my natural instincts of meleeing a pocketed Soldier and/or Heavy.
