What is Almost Any Ability Little Cup?
Almost Any Ability Little Cup is a mashup of Almost Any Ability and Little Cup, where Pokemon gains access to almost any ability in a Little Cup format.

Clauses

Species Clause: A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokedex number on a team.
OHKO Clause: A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Evasion Clause: A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
Sleep Moves Clause: Bans all moves that induce sleep, such as Hypnosis.
Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting.
Single Ability Clause: Two Pokemon on the same team may not share an ability.
Terastal Clause: Prevents Pokemon from Terastallizing.

Balanced Hackmons Little Cup

In this metagame, Pokemon that hasn't evolved yet and is at first stage can use nearly anything possible that you can battle with in a local battle. Balanced Hackmons uses National Dex of Pokemon, thus pokemon that are unobtainable in the base game such as Abra and Tangela are usable here. Even first-stage pokemon that are unobtainable at Level 5 such as Poipole and Kubfu are usable too.

Treecko and Shroodle

The sweeping prowess of Swords Dance and STAB Acrobatics that these two had might be too much for this tier, and it doesn't help that both Treecko and Shroodle have Unburden, which makes revenge killing impossible and Grookey, while less threatening than last gen due to Grassy Glide nerf, is still enabling these two. Shroodle hits harder and has Knock Off, while Treecko has better longevity and Steel Matchups via Drain Punch.

bhlc initial thoughts (note: i have never played a single game of lc before)

- abra is probably broken, its one of the fastest AND strongest mons while not being held back by its moveset. other similarly fast mons like elekid diglett-a ponyta etc etc just doesnt have as much power

- strength sap is really really good because of level 5 stats

- mixed attackers in general get a huge power boost since you can just run the highest power coverage moves available. notable guys are like the ponytas archen carvanha zorua-h etc

Mini AshGren Fat
This team is built around the insane breaking power of Sniper Carvanha to shatter defensive cores with the help of entry hazards from Ferroseed and Voltorb. Gligar is a really strong Mortal Spin user that mimicks FC Groudon from PFD G9BH, using Parting Shot to round out the set, while Munchlax can act as a backup hazard remover that also can take over games if given the opportunity. Since Knock Off is incredibly potent and this team has a lot of bulk, a Sticky Hold user is necessary; hence Sticky Hold Voltorb, which not only can answer Imposter Carvanha decently well but also switch into almost every Knock Off user in the tier. Wailmer is the team's Imposter user since Munchlax is the dedicated special wall.

Honestly, the biggest thing with LCBH is having a Knock Off answer. Sticky Hold is a really strong ability for this, although you do have to be able to answer the Knock Off users in the first place. Carvanha also feels like the strongest Pokemon in the tier, not Abra, since Surging Strikes and Wicked Blow are both incredibly busted in this format. I don't think any Pokemon can actually switch into it, and would imagine the likes of Stunky, Wiglett, and Kabuto would be much healthier.

Boomburst and Wicked Blow are now restricted, Zorua-Hisui and Terastallization are now quickbanned, Flittle is now unbanned.

After receiving major feedbacks (huge thanks to Yoru97), its time to announce the tiering decision: Boomburst and Wicked Blow are now restricted, Zorua-Hisui and Terastallization are now quickbanned, and Flittle is now unbanned.


Boomburst just simply hits too hard. I originally gonna included this in my initial watchlist, but the fact that almost all the abusers are unchanged when using Tera Starstorm made it rather questionable. This move really needs to go, Tera Starstorm will be put on the watchlist.



Despite the opportunity cost of not running Knock Off, the raw power from Wicked Blow proves to be too much in this tier, especially when its main abusers all have completely different answers to one another, which makes it hard to try covering all of them.


The guessing game it creates from its ability was annoying to deal with, especially when it can suddenly claim kills. While Boomburst is involved behind this ban, Hisuian Zorua is still unchanged when using Tera Starstorm. This ban will be revisited in the future.


While I'm a no-ban person when it comes to this, I can't deny that Terastallization was too much in this tier given everyone gets a stronger moves, and the mechanic pushes this further.


Out of all the pokemon that got banned with Terastallization involved, Flittle will the first wave of unban and the most safest one for now due to its low stats and lack of coverage option.

Major Announcement:

My activity has been horrible for the past couple of weeks due to personal irl stuff, moreso when LC STABmons started getting some games, which I was supposed to be around and been telling myself that I should be more active because this is what I've been wanted for, but I ended up barely existing. I didn't got much improvement on these problems either, so as a result, I will be stepping down as Tier Leader for all these LC Mashups, and Yoru97 will be taking over this thread, replacing me as the new leader for all these LC Mashups. You're the best person I've met when it comes to LC Mashup stuff, and your contributions has been incredible, particularly in LC STABmons. You've also made me very happy for getting LC STABmons some activity. I'll look forward to see how these LC Mashups grow under your leadership.

I'd also like to thank the entire OMM community. I've been around for a very long time since the creation back in Gen7, and I am proud to see how OMM has grown throughout the years, from pains of OMM groupchat getting nuked due to server restart, to OMM officially getting its own subroom, and now getting its own subforum. I am happy to have been a part of this, and I wished you all the best moving forward.
