Shedinja hasn't been confirmed for Champions yet. TBH I'm more worried about Tera Xerneas. Those bulky Steels that used to check it? Tera Blast Fire, they're dead. Or maybe Ground if you're worried about Heatran. Not to mention it now has Chi-Yu and Flutter Mane to help it out.
With how much shit is going to be legal on champions, i think tera elec shedinja is the least of anyone's issues lol. A weak ladder cheese strat with 0 competitive utility in a world where open teamsheets and dynamax exist. Folds to anyone remotely clicking max sandstorm or stealth rock.
Or even just the existence of Galarian Weezing.
To be fair Dynamax hasn’t been confirmed yet either just mega and tera. I do agree that Electric Tera Air Balloon Shedinja will amount to little more than low ladder cheese though. In Singles you have all the entry hazards, while VGC still has Sandstorm, burn, Taunt, Encore etc (those moves still get used in Singles they’re just rarer). Not to mention what does it actually do once it has switched in to wall something?
The Omni Ring has the Z-Move icon on it as well as a partially obscured one that matches up with the Dynamax icon.
Shedinja with access to Tera is still an extreme matchup fish and an unhealthy presence to allow in a competitive game. It's one of those things that isn't strictly overpowered but is so polarizing (it either does nothing or is the most frustrating thing in existence) that it's better off not being allowed.
I wouldn't be surprised if Game Freak continues to lock Shedinja out of formats where Tera is legal or make it so Wonder Guard just turns off if Tera is used.

You say that yet forget that VGC allows evasion moves and 1hko moves, which are equally cheesy: bank your victory chance on a 30% hit with almost 0 counterplay.
I still remind when wolfey for memes won a tournament (or got close to) with a unholy stupid strat of getting No Guard on a 1hko user via a chain of skill swaps, and last year before restricted were allowed, a Fissure Ting-Lu almost won a international tournament, arriving second.
They've never been fussed by cheese strats, be it Battle Spot or actual VGC tournament. If they cared of things being "healthy for the game", they'd have done something about the insane variance the game has nowadays with far too many matches this year swung by just a crit or a random flinch/para/sleep/insert generic rng status proc
that still dies to any status (will o wisp expecially is not that rare) as well as any mold-breaker like (several of which present in restricted formats)
As I said, it's overblown ladder cheese with 0 actual competitive viability. Feel free to have fun with it whenever it's the case, don't expect any restriction put on it.
I wouldn't worry about any of those issues.
If it exists, it'll be in Champions. Whenever they allow them to be run toghether is simply a case of regulations.
You can see in VGC and even in ZA how they rotate a bit what pokemon and what mechanics are allowed (as back as gen 7 they were already having some seasons with "X but not Y" for example, with the Sun, Moon and Ultra series)
New Update To Wonder Guard: If a Pokemon with Wonder Guard isn't its original Typing by the end of its turn it'll change its Type to be so.
Though honestly maybe it's time to redo Shedinja & Wonder Guard. It was a fun concept at the beginning, but overtime it became something which held Shedinja back due to both a danger of it becoming unbeatable while having too many other ways to faint it wasn't worth using. So my more honest suggestion:
Stat Change: 1/90/45/30/30/40 > 160/45/50/90/61/50 (rearranged Ninjask's stats)
Wonder Guard's New Effect: Immune to Status Conditions, opponent's Status Moves, & indirect damage. Non-Super Effective damaging Moves have their damage halved and secondary effects don't activate. Super Effective Moves don't do damage, but Wonder Guard becomes inactive.
I don't think it'll make Shedinja great (I don't think nothing ever would, though I wouldn't be against it and Ninjask receiving a bit of a stat increase), but I think it would make it much more playable. First off GF would no longer have to worry about adding the Nincada family to a Pokedex and make sure every boss trainer's Pokemon (or at least their ace) has a Move that can hit Shedinja super effectively (or how a Super Mechanic or even new Item may cause issues). For players, yeah it lost its "uniqueness" where against the right NPCs it can completely wall them and that's funny for about the first few battles it happens. However with this change it's now more effectively a wall and, even if it gets hit by a weakness, instead of getting KOed it just loses its Ability making it super vulnerable again (though at least absorbs the weakness that one time). Finally made it a Special Attacker as it just feels like it more matches Shedinja's vibes, and gives it an additional thing to differ itself from Ninjask (you know, aside from the Speed).

honestly that would be such a cool idea so that you won't have to worry about type changing moves or other gimmicks on shedinja

hyperspace lumiose can manifest pretty much anything the mind can conceive of. valuable items, clothing, pokemon, people, you can even talk to the dead. and things from hyperspace lumiose can cross the portals into the real world with no adverse effects or anything. so my thinking is, can you bring back the dead using this? it's not just a thing in darkrai's pocket of hyperspace, you talk to a lady's dead husband in a regular hyperspace zone. and the dead husband gives you a letter with some true real-world information that his wife explicitly did not know, which indicates that this isn't some kind of "oh it's not the real person, just someone's memories of a person" situation. this is apparently the actual person kicking around in hyperspace totally alive. this opens up so many possibilities

With dream logic you kinda have a blank check for it to work however you want it to.
For example, how can we really know if the information that composes Hyperspace Lumiose is all strictly contemporary? The dead husband wasn’t alive when Darkrai came to Lumiose, sure… but he did live in Lumiose, so that information was there at some point. The physical body that contained that information is also still present, albeit decaying, in the Wild Zone 4 cemetery. Does the brain have to be intact and alive for Darkrai’s out-of-control power to draw from it, or could we say that one’s memories are like a fingerprint on the brain’s neural pathways, and can be extrapolated by Darkrai’s dream matrix?
Moreover, the man clearly died with unfinished business and regret, and we know that genuine ghosts exist in the Pokémon world. So this could potentially go beyond even the physical body — is the man’s spirit still around? Can that be read and reproduced by Darkrai’s power? Does it even need to be a reproduction, or could his actual spirit have just got caught up in the dimensional folds somehow?
Another idea that’s common with ghosts is that objects can be imprinted with their regrets. Perhaps the objects that were near/involved with the man’s death contain enough of his lingering feelings to influence the composition of Hyperspace?
Similarly, I think the possibility if bringing back the dead could also be interpreted in whatever way one wants. It could be that if you took AZ or the dead husband out of Hyperspace, they would indeed persist and you would have effectively circumvented death by creating a clone of the deceased. Or maybe the “rules” are different for people than they are for Pokémon.
Maybe it has something to do with whether or not the entity leaving Hyperspace has a will of their own. AZ and the dead husband are both dead, so it could be surmised (assuming that we’re not dealing with any true ghosts here) that dead brains can’t think for themselves, whereas any wild Pokémon you happen to take with you are recreations of wild Pokémon that are still alive, and are thus reproduced with more of a will, with which they can determine that they wish to join you as a partner.
Then again, the way that the dead husband introduces himself, by saying “I would do it myself, but I’m afraid that certain circumstances prevent me from doing so” makes me suspect that Hyperspace-generated people are produced with some kind of intrinsic, reflexive inclination, some inexplicable conviction, to simply not question the nature of their existence and to not seek to leave or alter it.
It’s all very, in a word, nebulous. (As it should be, I feel.)
If the dead husband was able to cross into the real world I think he probably would have instead of hoping some random trainer came by.
Much like with the Ultra Wormholes, I think for the most part the Pokemon you encounter were alive somewhere, even if it maybe was a different dimension. So the case could also be true for the items and clothing you get, they already physically existed, they just crossed path with Hyperspace Lumiose. Also I think most of the "alive" people in Hyperspace Lumiose were implied to not be the actual person but a subconscious representation of themselves (if I had to guess/add-on to this, likely due to Hyperspace Lumiose boundaries being very close to the real world people were probably able to project themselves into it while they were sleeping; would also go with Darkrai being the one causing the problem). As for why the Wild Pokemon aren't also subconscious representations,
Now ghosts, as in ghosts of the departed not Ghost-type Pokemon, have been shown to exist in the Pokemon world. So, maybe just like the items & clothing, the husband's spirit just was able to cross into Hyperspace Lumiose where he was able to construct a metaphysical body for the time he was there to give someone the message to give to his wife. As a none-restless spirit he can't completely manifest into the real world as the planes of the living & dead are opposed to each other (sure he has some unfinished business but it doesn't seem something that is strong enough for him to use to slip through the barrier as we've seen with some ghosts); Hyperspace Lumiose is conveniently the most closest space he can use.
That's my theory.
As I said, if the husband could leave I think he would have, or if he had anyway to contact the living world he would have gotten his wife to come. However he seems to be limited to just the Hyperspace Lumiose space he's in at that moment, and once the player leaves it it ceases to exist thus the husband's spirit returns to the plane of the dead.
Well not only does the husband seem to be aware where he is, but other characters too even though they're not physically in Hyperspace Lumiose (at I think they aren't). I don't think there's any "generated" people, everyone we encounter in Hyperspace Lumiose (other than the dead husband and AZ, as far as we know) are a self-manifestation of a living person in real Lumiose. To manifested people Hyperspace Lumiose is likely like a lucid dream; some people are completely aware where they are while others are in a sort of zoned state and just going with their stream of consciousness (or rather subconsciousness).
As you said, very nebulous; you know how much GF loves doing this weird stuff but don't want to provide an explaination cause that isn't fun.
I mean, we can only get in cause Hoopa pulls open the rift. Maybe he just didn't realize that leaving was an option since it wasn't til we show up.

That didn't really answer the question. AztecCroc suggested maybe the husband didn't know leaving was an "option, which led to my question. But you suggesting he didn't want to die again/freak out his wife would mean he did know, which contradicts what AztecCroc said. He can't both not know he's able to leave and worry leaving would make him die again.
Theory: Hyperspace Dead Guy isn't being generated by Hyperspace. Just a ghost that came in while John Z-A and Hoopa went into that Hyperspace Portal Ring Thingy.

Why are there ai knockoffs of Doduo (or Dodrio?) and Swablu (maybe?)? They aren't even in ZA. Also failed attempts at Taunie and no Urbain, as well as two equally wrong versions Chikorita despite the ai managing the significantly more complicated Totodile and Tepig decently. And then just red Rowlet with ears? Generic owl?
Why even ai generate the cover to begin with? If you're trying to trick people into buying your fake guide at least use the actual cover like nearly every guide ever. Especially when you're pretending to be official.
