252 Atk Choice Band Crobat Steel Wing vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Aerodactyl-Mega: 204-242 (67.7 - 80.3%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Folks hard aero on bat all the time, might as well nuke 'em for doing so. Requires minor chip. Choice Band Crobat, former UU analysis set, has lost its glory for the most part, but it's still fun to mess around with.

Togekiss @ Leftovers/Charti Berry
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunder Wave
- Air Slash
- Roost
- Nasty Plot

Bulky Twave Toge is able to severely cripple Maero for a match. Aero's specialty is its mean speed. A large amount of mons are able to deal with aero without its previous speed. Toge itself can flinch down Aerodactyl. The given spread beats base 70s and has a high chance to live a stone edge from maero, bar a crit. Charti berry is a viable option for stronger mons like terrakion, though the passive recovery (particularly with the hax from toge) is nice. Hope you like the lure and consider using it. Thanks Freeroamer for reminding me about the spread's purpose.

Togekiss @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 108 Def / 148 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Counter
- Air Slash
- Nasty Plot
- Roost

This is ev'd to guarantee living a stone edge and can kill aero back with counter upon it going for said edge. If they try to ice fang predicting your switch to a ground type they still die to one counter and you remain very healthy.

252 Atk Aerodactyl-Mega Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 108 Def Togekiss: 314-372 (83.9 - 99.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Tornadus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Hurricane
- Superpower
- Heat Wave
- Icy Wind

So Maero doesn't fear much from Tornadus other than superpower which does around 54% which it can roost off or OHKO / force out thanks to it outspeeding + the Atk drop. However with Icy wind not only do you 2OHKO Maero but you also outspeed it thanks to the drop. The set still looks to provide speed control in some way which can be nice for whatever it is partnered with. Defiant was opted to potentially take advantage of the Attack Boost from Defog and punish things like Blissey.

252 SpA Life Orb Tornadus Icy Wind vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Aerodactyl-Mega: 161-190 (53.4 - 63.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Quickly typing this on mobile so no crazy gif for today. So after revealing SD, Mega Aero thinks it’ll have an easy time revenging you by taking your Extreme Speed. And then you surprise the Mega Aero by hard bopping it. I know that E-Speed is usually more useful but it’s not too different of a power change with STAB priority.

We are disqualifying Lucario because the set does not effectively lure in Aerodactyl and it only comes in to revenge kill it. Bullet Punch is also a viable option on regular SD Lucario so Aerodactyl is not always lured in fearing it.

Voting ends on Tuesday 11th December. Good luck!

Congratulations to Twilight for winning this week! Your set will be added to the OP.

Gligar is a rising Pokemon that has been seeing a high amount of usage after Gliscor's depature but more recently, it has been gaining traction as a good Defogger and entry hazard setter. Its usage in recent tournaments and now in most play has increated rapidly, and because it's so bulky, an effective way to eliminate it can be through luring it.

Deadline is Monday Dece, ber 17th. Good luck!

Terrakion @ Rockium Z
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
Many teams rely on gligar for dealing with Terrakion and will mindlessly switch it in, only for Terrakion to get a SD up. +2 252 Atk Terrakion Continental Crush (180 BP) vs. 252 HP / 156+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 295-348 (88.3 - 104.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock. ez clap.

Zeraora @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 176 Atk / 140 SpA / 192 Spe
Naive Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power [Ice]

140 SpA Zeraora Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 100 SpD Eviolite Gligar: 168-200 (50.2 - 59.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Hidden Power [Ice] Zeraora is a nice way to lure Gligar which deals with it 100% of the time if Zeraora doesn't run Hidden Power [Ice]. Shuca Berry is pretty useful because it allows Zeraora to take less than 50% on Gligar's Earthquake which means it can still check some Pokemon like Scizor after that. Shuca Berry is also really nice vs Scarf Krook / Hippowdon.

Beedrill-Mega @ Beedrillite
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Poison Jab
- Drill Run
- Knock Off

Beedrill is notorious for struggling with exceptionally bulky ground types, especially ones that resist U-turn. This is why Gliscor was hardest counter of hard counters that Beedrill would ever end up facing in it's lifetime. It's attacks did such pitiful damage to Gliscor that toxic orb alone could heal off Beedrill's swings.
GLIGAR, on the other hand, proves its not quite the Gliscor replica because it has a chink in it's armor that Beedrill CAN exploit, it's eviolite. Beedrill can easily convince Gligar to come in because of Gligar's amazing resistance to Beedrill's other 3 moves, but once it comes in, it ends up getting knocked off. This lure doesn't quite KO Gligar, but absolutely cripples it's ability to check just about anything else in the Beedrill player's arsenal, such as an electric or a Terrakion.

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly / Naive Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Hidden Power [Ice]

252 Atk Life Orb Mienshao Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 156+ Def Eviolite Gligar: 68-81 (20.3 - 24.2%)
0- SpA Life Orb Mienshao Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 100 SpD Gligar: 239-286 (71.5 - 85.6%)

Knock into jolly HP ice does 91.8% min, which KOs after rocks. Naive is also an option to nearly guarantee the KO (99.6% min) without rocks, as well as do more with HP ice to other targets, and you shouldn't really be taking special hits anyway as this isn't the AV set.
