I've been attempting Honey tree species abuse in Platinum for a while, and I feel that the mechanics in Platinum might be different from what's posted in the Most Gen RNG help thread. I noticed that the results in the game weren't matching up with what I expected to happen looking at researcher.
I didn't do any serious note-taking, but here's one of my results:
Initial seed: DF100263
Frame 156, Non-munchlax tree
I expected a Heracross with some shaking, but got an Aipom with no shaking.
Do you think you might be able to shed some light on this?
