Really my highest concern is that whatever pokemon I have, however I obtained them, that I treat each of them as unique and special. I get really attached to my pokemon and have a tendency to create personalities for them. That's my philosophy. I don't want to catch them all, I just want friends and partners. Even if they are actually little bits of data.

And yeah, I'm a girl. Did you recognize the character in my avatar? Yellow is my favorite character from the manga. If pokemon were real I would want to be just like her. I don't really try to flaunt the fact that I'm a girl though. Which I guess is also appropriate since Yellow spends most of the time disguised as a boy...

As for playing the game... I guess I'm torn. I feel like to be really competitive you have to RNG or cheat in some other way to get really good stats. But that makes it feel kind of fake, like you said. On the other hand, (and this may just be me getting way too into the games) I worry that breeding a ton of one species then releasing them would screw with the ecosystem? Or something? Yeah I actually thought it through to that level.

Hahaha... we are impressive like that. I'm so happy~ I love Plusle! Hope we'll get a chance to trade in the future... I have the utmost respect for you not using cheats. I admit I have recently learned to RNG, but prior to that I did all my breeding by hand... and I would literally fill more than a whole box with a pokemon before I got one I was satisfied with.

Eeep sorry... just got your message. I still have the Smeargle I used to breed moves onto my Scrafty, and my Scrafty is a girl, so I could just breed them real quick and give you the resulting egg. It would have Ice Punch, Drain Punch, and Dragon Dance as egg moves. Would you like that or still prefer Buneary?

Ah... do you have a Smeargle? It's probably easier to just sketch Ice Punch off of a Jynx (from that cave where you find the Dittos?). That's what I did when I bred my Scraggy.

Or if you want, I could potentially sketch it with another of the male Smeargles I have and just send that straight to you. Maybe make your life a little easier?

Since we need to trade anyways... if you promise to give me a Cyndaquil when you do manage to get your hands on one, I can trade you a Buneary. It's not DW though... just pokeshifted from Diamond to White.

Vitamins are expensive tho... so I try to save them. I've only EVed a couple teams, but now I'm doing some for Eiganjo for credits (and because he's really nice).

I can certainly breed you both in exchange. I'll have that done and hopefully we'll be able to find time tomorrow to trade (today I don't have access to DS compatible wifi till late... like 5 hours from now).

Thanks so much for the legit pokerus... as I mentioned I have a strain I've been using, but now that I know it's (probably) hacked I would much rather not use it. Not much I can do about pokemon I already used it on but... Since I EV train by hand (not using AR or vitamins or whatever... just power items and a lot of patience) pokerus is a huge time saver, so getting a legitimate strain is a top priority for me.

Tomorrow I'll probably be busy, but the day after I should be able to trade sometime. It's probably easiest to do what we did today; if you see me on, message me and if I'm available we'll trade. If I'm not on Smogon I wouldn't be available anyways.

Also, I read in the simple questions thread that you have pokerus... do you know if it is legitimate and if so could you possibly give it to Charmander before trading? I got a strain from a friend who got it from GTS trading, but I uploaded to Pokecheck and found out it's a hacked strain, so I'm looking for a real one.

I have a Squirtle and Chikorita. I could breed either for you but not right now.
