When I created it, it was originally a trading group, but the name was "Team Neutral" just in case I wanted to change it. When that also failed, I deleted all discussions and started anew. First it was a basic team and the first member was TMBM and the group only had a discussion for ranks and the basic shenanigans. I was taking this entrepreneur class-thing and it taught me to think outside of the box. I decided to take a whole new direction in teams and make it a group that encourages spamming and activity. Tis turned out to be successful and now almost all teams have converted or have been created based on this same principle.

On the first couple days of Smogon, I did nothing more than editing my profile and talking to myself. (go back to the first VM on my page) Then I started exploring the site. I checked out the main forums and decided doing work is too hard, even if it is about pokemon, so I continued clicking on the links on the menu bar. I came across the "Social groups" button and clicked on it. I decided "this looks interesting" and decided to join a couple. I joined a tiny group, then decided to make a group for the App, Fruit Ninja. It failed epicly. Then, one day I found a group called "Mariokart" and clicked on it. It was OVERGRO's and it was prospering. I then turned my attention to teams, since those were the most active. I joined this new team called "SSIS" (that's right, this was my first team) and I was the first member. After a few days, I decided I wanted to make a new team.

Well, I first got into pokemon around when I was 6 and I got my first Pokemon video. Then I got the cards and more videos until 2008, when I got my first DS and Pokemon Pearl. I first got into competitive gaming last year and I joined Smogon because it seemed to be popular. Plus, Serebii's color scheme makes my eyes hurt... :(

So you are OK if I make the WIFI tour a BABA eligible event? Should I make an announcement or should you do it?

I am going to keep track of records for BABA matches, but I am also going to record any other "official" matches that BABA memebers want me to record if they provide a link to where the results are recorded. So keep that in mind if you want me to record any of your wins on the wifi tour, just send me a link to the results. It might be reported seperately from the BABA wins, but I will keep track of it. I will have a leaders board for BABA matches, both percentage of wins and total wins, because I want to encourage volume as well as a high win %.
If you want we can do some kind of BABA approval for the WIFI tour so that anyone who is a memeber of the BABA battling group will have their WIFI tour results (win or lose) in the BABA rating records? What do you think aobut that?
If not, then the BABA memebers can still link to the results and have it as other statistic.
