Pippy, I think you got your Empoleon after the date nature changes were given out (some time in April iirc), meaning it doesn't get a nature change unless one gets given out after the current State of the Game.

No, if you use Screech on action 1 of round 1, then at the end of round 1, his defence goes to -1, and at the end of round 2, it goes back to 0. Stat boosts/drops always go back towards 0.
You used Screech on the first action of round 1. That means my Machop is at +0 Def.
