  • As far as I'm aware, even with the connection, the pokemon can only exit the Burst Heart via merging with the trainer. I'd have to check with Comp to make sure though.

EDIT: Unless the pokemon is released entirely via smashing the Burst Heart. But that's counting as "releasing" a pokemon without being able to return it.
Oh I see. Yeah, Complications chose a rather odd time to leave. My theories on how it works is thus: Raeodin is looking for powerful legendary pokemon, and one (presumably Groudon, given the desert) has shown up in the starting town. Burst Hearts work like pokeballs, where they are thrown and then capture pokemon, but instead of releasing them, they are dormant until a sufficient "connection" has been made between the pokemon and trainer. After this has been reached, the human can merge with the Pokemon and take on qualities of both. To make the connection, one must travel into some odd mental realm (this is where I kind of go into theory) and train with the pokemon.

That make any sense at all?
    Not a problem.

As for your woes in the RPG...generally if you get stuck somewhere that isn't due to someone being absent, I find it best to just go on a tangent and make up my own part of the story. As long as it isn't too outlandish, this generally works.
Froslass: One fun option here would be Brightpowder. Use it with Snow Cloak and suddenly Froslass becomes really hard to hit. If you're looking for something a trite less gimmicky, probably something like Expert Belt or Nevermeltice.
Dodrio: Most likely Sharp Beak. One potential option to consider is the Beserk Gene, which will take advantage of Tangled Feet and give him a big boost. It is consumable though, and will probably still prevent you from moving sometimes.
Nuzleaf: Honestly, I probably wouldn't put an item on this thing except on raids and No item matchups, to abuse Pickpocket. In those cases though, consider Heat Rock to abuse Chlorophyll.
Darumaka: Charcoal or Life Orb, easy. Consider pairing with Nuzleaf if using Heat Rock.
Snorunt: Eh, what are you going to evolve this into? The item will vary depending on the evolution path.
I'd be happy to help. Let's see now...Cubone definitely wants Thick Club.
Xatu: Since it's really a support pokemon, I'd recommend Light Clay to extend the screens. If that doesn't suit you, you could always try Leftovers.
Lantern: Well, this really depends. Magnet, Mystic Water, and Expert Belt are the safest options, but Life Orb would also work well.
Hariyama: I'd go for Flame Orb to abuse Guts. If you get into raids though, you'll probably want the Collar of Tenacity (Raid-only) to abuse Guts even further and give him a respectable SpA stat of 4 (can't use much with it but meh).
    Ok, just checking :)

Also, would you eventually like to help me Train (Read slaughter) some mons when I get a free slot?
Just wondering if you rolled for the Pyro Armor's 20% burn chance?

    I'll be posting in a moment....I have a paper to finish :(
My characters are always one of the following:

    1). Abnormally old guy
    2). Young hothead
    3). Pridefull rich kid
4). Evil man in search for imortality
I posted my SU in Burst RPG.

How do you like him? Also, there will be an anomily that will be explained in the RP. Comp and I have already talked on that matter.
"I'm going be gone Thursday-Sunday, so on Thursday can we pause our battle?"

This is what Comp sent to me. Just letting you know that the match is on hold. You can go ahead and ref the ongoing round when you need to, though.
