ok, now click ok in the seed finder to put the seed into the main portion of rngreporter. then go to the scroll down menu that we used for getting the egg natures, and set it to "breeding (DPPt)", then click generate. Find the frame that matches the egg's IV's(if you still have to hatch it at this point, do that first) and write that number down. that is going to be our starting frame for your rnging.

okay let's do the egg calibration now ^^ basically the same thing as the other one, except you dispel the journal with B, take the egg,, then hatch it, catch a mon, find your seed, find your frame. think you can do that?

same thing as the other calibration :) (synch the DSs, go ingame, SR when the other DS reaches the next minute, press A until you enter the game, press B to dispel the journal, press A again untill you take the egg from the daycare man)

after you follow those steps, you need to hatch the egg and check it's IVs, then catch a high lv mon to find your starting seed. put that seed into the main portion of RNG reporter, hit generate, then find the frame you hit. repeat this process enough times to get consistent results.

To start, save in front of the daycare man. We're gonna calibrate egg frames you can hit.

Next, set the date at least 2 days forward (or back, doesn't matter). What this does is it makes the journal pop up automatically when you first load up the game. The journal is how we advance the frame, until we are at the position we want to be in.

Basically, calibrating for eggs is the exact same thing as calibrating for delay/time, only this time we're looking for the frame you hit oftenest. You would follow the same procedure as the other calibration, except DON'T press A as you enter the game. When the journal comes up, press B to end it, THEN press at again at a rate you can duplicate.

Pressing A when you first enter makes the journal go backwards, which potentially could advance the frame.

hasty works too I guess. gengar can use explosion, and with LO it might hurt something bad. yeah hp fire is for scizor, but can gengar survive a CB BP from scizor without a -def nature? hp fire should be used on the switch anyways.

awesome! now we need to get the egg with the nature/ability/gender you want. You could do that by RNG or just by normal methods, up to you. lemme pull up RNG reporter myself now, because I got a new project to work on(as if I don't have enough to work on already >_>)

cool. Now figure out which one you want to try first, put the parents in the daycare in the order that the spread you choose calls for, while I switch comps to the one with RNG reporter. Brb.

HP fire is 31 / E / 31 / 30 / 31 / 30. Min / max frame, well, because We haven't egg calibrated yet, we can use what I normally use, min 6, max 40 it might be different, but that's why I want you to pick out a few different spreads. try to pick at least one even and one odd one, just incase you hit odds normally/the npcs move in that seed, which influences the rng.

once you've filled out everything you want, you need to set the target IVs. If you're going for a hidden power, and you know the IVs necessary for that, set the IVs, etc. If it's stuff like timid/modest or adamant/ jolly, you can leave attack/SpA blank, respectively--that will increase your options for targets.

After you've done that, click "generate". A list of spreads with numbers that fit your criteria, "A", and "B" should pop up.

"A" means that particular IV is passed to the egg by the first parent you stick in the daycare

"B" is the exact same thing as A, only that it comes from the second parent you stick in the daycare.

Find a few spreads that get the IVs you want, VM me again and we'll continue from there.
