Oh. you flip to a page that contains a defeated or captured mon, that advances the RNG (frame) by 2. do enough of those so that your starting frame (12) lands on your target frame.
you delay you mean? because if you hit your delay+frame you just got the spread you wanted

no small, very small; it's way less than you think it is. you just have to press A at a slightly slower pace, not much, just a smidge.
yeah 10 delay isn't that much. its like 500 or so per second :/ we're talking minute adjustments here, not big ones.
wait longer at the continue screen. that is where the delay part comes from
cool. the delay is the important part; frames are easier to hit than seeds in my experience.
try it and see what happens
