Oh, also, since you're a mod on the Wifi thread, I have a few questions for you. I want to make my own trade thread, but I need to know of a few things before I make myself look stupid.

1. Is there an AR code that let's you see IVs? If so, do you know it?
2. Can I use an AR code to obtain any Pokemon, or is this illegal?

Anyway, but even though these people are really smart and whatnot, they're still people. Even though they're, eh, rough on people who don't know what they're talking about, they're actual normal people, and without every notable thing they may have on here (badges, mod status, etc.), in real life, they're normal humans who you couldn't point out in a crowd if you tried.

All you really have to do to fit in is find a topic you know a lot about and post there; anything you have knowledge on should be used properly to fit in. For you, it's easy because you have a mod status, so people immediately respect you in fear of being banned or muted. You just have to blend in casually to the conversation.

Another thing I've learned is that if you're going to make a joke, make it relevant to the conversation. If you can't make your joke on-topic, don't make the joke.

tl;dr just be on-topic and post about stuff you know and you'll be okay ^.^
