Yea i thought about that but my kyogre only lasts 2-3 turns. And surf doesnt cut it just doesnt do enough damage...i have hydro on my palkia and usualy use it on my toxi in emergencies...but somethins not workin and i just gotta figure it out.

Yea pretty much. I think i still like '10 VGCs tho because the alloted ubers add a great deal of added challenges and skill while still allowing all 09 pokes. Still say the should allow shaymin lol

skarmbliss.com is the only place I can think of, it's mostly guys from here who got tired of singles and focus on VGC.

At any rate, good luck in the actual competition (if we ever find out where they are, anyway); I think you might have a good chance of qualifying with a little practice. Just shoot me a PM or VM if you want a battle; also, I would recommend battling mattj. I've been helping him with battles since last year, and you would definitely learn A LOT from him.

Bit late, but good battle. I like your team, though I have a few questions/suggestions/concerns about it.

Trick room will likely be quite popular - Dialga is able to pull it off quite easily. Barring the Ludi (which I believe was Rain Dish, though I didn't pay attention to the ability), what would you do against a TR team?

From what I saw, your best chance on that team is stalling out TR, but that's not 100% viable - protect stalling is less likely the more you spam it, so you are likely to lose a few Pokemon. I'd suggest something like a Brave Metagross as a way to counteract it (or something similar - Abomasnow is also a good choice, since it has Grass Knot for Kyogre and Groudon, and Ice Beam is neutral on the very popular Dialga and Palkia.)

Also, if you can get on IRC, join #skarmbliss and #smogonwifi - you'll get good practice from the players there. The two channels also do tournaments every week (Skarmbliss on Saturday [visit skarmbliss.com], and Smogonwifi on Sunday)
