Yeah, I'll battle you on PO in a sec, I'm just checking out a strange contradiction. Bulbapedia says that Gothitelle can learn Helping Hand, while PO doesn't. I am checking it out now :P

That depends on what set they're running. Mental Herbs are absolutely vital if you want to rely on status moves. Lum Berries on physical attackers are very important. You'll need to know when to use protect on the pokemon targeted by Sableye so that you can take it out ASAP. Personally, I think that Sableye counters itself pretty well if you have a Mental Herb and/or a Follow Meer.
