    lol. So Fermat's Last Theorem is one of the most famous problems in math. It was a statement that was thought to be true, but nobody was able to prove it for a long time, and the guy who finally proved it became really famous.

    Anyway, when Fermat originally proposed the problem, he wrote in the margin, "I have discovered a truly remarkable proof which this margin is too small to contain," or something like that.

    And if you're curious, the theorem, which turns out to be true, is "For all integers n greater than 2, there do not exist integers x, y, and z such that x^n + y^n = z^n." The proof is my status message here on Smogon. :)
