The letters are in caps, as in the usual japanese "style", and the pokemon is generated by the game itself, it hasn't been modified externally.

Eppie, it's just like if you use a English game, use the AR code to go to the island and save there, then change the save file name to the japanese game and you can load it.
That's what people have been doing since only Japan got that event.

If the shiny Donphan is originally yours, How did you get the Donphan (or phanpy) with endeaver, counter, and ice shard at the same time?
I thought having all three of those attacks at the same time is an illegal moveset for Donphan. =/
