Here's my evidence: He named himself after a spider and has spider-like powers. I admit this one is a bit of a stretch because really he's just strong and sticky, and he made the webbing himself, but what if the webbing was inspired by a spider because he got bit by one? I feel like a lot of symbolism points to this

Also, in the other Spider-Man movies, Spider-Man was bit by a spider to get his powers. I feel like they are pretty similar, so maybe this happened here too.


Also, I think in the credits of Spider-Man homecoming they show him with a spider if I remember rightly. So what do you think of my theory?
