well with helping hand, you need something bulky, but LC doubles is even more in its infancy than LC and that's still being established, so who's to say.

and i don't like being locked in either, but LC is SUCH an offensively oriented metagame. moreso than OU is now. i would try them out without scarf and then try them with scarf (especially nidoran M) and don't be afraid to switch to a good counter. see if it helps you out ;)

well for their wide coverage, they make great revenge killers.

if you play them that way, you can't go wrong. especially since a lot of little cup is about revenge killing / sacrifice.

but a nidoran (M) beat up lead might not be too bad i suppose if you pack a bunch of strong physical attackers on your team (especially cranidos)

this is if you run choice scarf:

for Nidoran (M)

140 Atk / 36 Def / 196 SPAtk / 116 Spe
OR
220 Atk / 36 Def / 116 SPAtk / 116 Spe

depending on whether or you want higher Atk or SPAtk
with choice scarf, those EVs let you hit 21, which lets you outspeed everything not scarved.

if you're not running Choice Scarf (i suggest you do btw, unless you make a Beat Up lead), then 220 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SPAtk / 196 Spe

i could spend all day talking about possible movesets. i'll let you see what works best for you.


for Nidoran (F)
220 Atk / 20 Def / 36 SPatk / 36 SPDef / 188 Spe
OR
60 Atk / 20 Def / 196 SPAtk / 36 SPDef / 188 Spe

nidoran needs max speed to reach 21 with scarf, so run max speed regardless.
same as above about the movesets.
