I've been starting to learn on my own in HeartGold, but I'd be fine with RNG'ing in DPP if that's what you know. Mostly I'm just stuck on the beginning stages, so I'd really appreciate some help if possible.

Hi! I have some time for a little lesson.

I tried to RNG on my own today, this time with Pikatimer. I still don't really know what goes in Calibrated Delay. I usually just put 489 (My min. Delay) so I'm not sure if that's why it's not letting me hit my target time and Delay.

I'm trying to RNG abuse the Jirachi Wondercard, but the RNG Reporter can't come up with the Seed or Frame that matches the IVs that I submitted. Is there another way to find the send and frame for the IVs that I want?

Hi there! Could you please tutor me for how to RNG for shiny eggs and IVs? If it will cost me, I'm not sure what I can give you. I've got a shiny EV'd Salamence, but I'm pretty sure the IVs aren't great. Or maybe you could wait to see what I breed? (I plan on breeding flawless shiny Johto starters and then I'm gonna give them away to celebrate ^^ Of course, I'll have someone clone them so I can keep a copy of each).

I pretty much know the basics. My only problem is hitting the target time and delay, and then you suggested I try Pikatimer. Well, I got it downloaded, but I haven't tried it yet, I've been busy today. But I think it will be easier for me to learn with a person teaching me, rather than just a guide.

Ah, actually, I think I understand it now. The coin flip verification only shows the delay that you hit, regardless of the frame.

But, if they had moved and it had advanced my frame, wouldn't that have shown up in my coin flip sequence? Or does that just show the delay that you entered the game world on? If so, then basically, the coin flips verification is unreliable and from now on I'll always check my IVs before I save the game!

Do you know why this would happen: In DPPt, I was RNGing the IVs of an egg and I was using coin flips to verify the delay that I hit. Well, after several attempts, i finally got a sequence of coin flips that matched the delay I was aiming for, but when I checked the IVs of the Pokemon, instead of 31/31/31/31/31/31, it was 31/31/31/31/10/31.

Oh yea... Okay, so I'll use rare candies... so I'm a little confused... I've been getting 16-17 seconds from pressing a to enter the game/L+R+select+start and getting ingame... I'm recording time from when I press A to start the game to when I actually start playing right? Sorry if this is silly...
