Nothing gets damaged by the sand other than Sword of Ruin Moon, so you can chip some things down pretty quickly with Rocks, Sand, Salt Cure, Rocky Helmet Corvi, and Corvi x Pert Pivot Vortex. The EVs on Garg do not do anything specific, it just reaches 400/344/400 defenses in sand lol.
