  • Its either one really :P
Its a Trick Room Clamperl. The only real requirement is that it has this IV spread, 31/30/31/30/31/3 (HP grass) and is Quiet natured
I was wondering if you knew anyone who would be able to help me out with getting a pokemon... its something that is really uncommon so I can find it anywhere :/
The Skarmory would be nice if you don't mind. I already have an HP fire Gengar :P
I have an almost complete series of Synchs. I can give you some now so you don't have to ask for them as you go :P
Thank you. :-) I'll get them on my thread later. Now my daughter is asking me if I'm coming, so off I go to watch the movie. Talk to you later.
Anyhow, it handles well in the game. I chose Thunderbolt for more coverage, to get birds and water types.
I think I used this spread 252 HP / 180 Sp.ATK / 76 Speed and I used Thunderbolt instead of ice beam, but that's easily remedied if you want Ice beam.
No, it's mine, but I used his advice to EV it. I caught it with my almost perfect modest spread.

    Going back on wifi.
Sure, but I can't think of a nickname. Calypso? How about Calypso.

I'll add in that FC. I will send you over my modest tyranitar. You can tell me how it does in battle, perhaps, one of these days. It's already EVed and at level 58.
Would you like to send over the pair of pokes now if you have time? I'm going to be watching a movie with my daughter later. I can send you over my shiny blue ditto if you like and some other poke. My modest tyranitar is a beast, btw. I really like it.
Yes, that's what it looks like. I checked the lake after the Galactic release and Mesprit wasn't there, so it has to be later when the Galactic plot ends.
    Sorry, had to log off.

Yes, I was doing it to catch Mesprit or Cress, but the guides provided by the forum mods aren't very clear. There's a point in the game where you release one of the roamers as part of the actual game story, but it doesn't say in the guide that this is or is not the point that you have to do the RNG. So I did it then just in case, but when I went to check if Mesprit was in the cave, it wasn't. So that says to me the guide meant later, after the storyline had run its course.
I think I did that bit of RNG for nothing. Live and learn. Oh, well. It seems they meant when you meet them again after the entire Galactic part of the game is finished with.
I'm beginning to wonder what the guide means by 'releasing the roamers'. Maybe they don't mean during this part of the game at all.
Ah, it just means an extra few minutes catching a wild poke and checking which delay I landed on after I get out of the Galactic building, after the journal flips are done.

It looks like I landed on my delay, so now I have to run down a roamer and check it's IVs without saving so I can do a proper ball catch later. I decided to backup this retail save file and do it on a flash card so I can save my butt if I made a mistake here. I'll put it back on the retail game after. So that helps too, because once I saved in the roamer room, I was locked into the cycle with no way out.
    That's good news. :-)

I'm currently working on my first ever RNG of the Pearl roamers, where you have to RNG before you press the release button. And I forgot to pick up my coin flip app beforhand. Head smack.
