Pretty sure the [removed] used HGSS to transfer his guys, and you know that legit.exe has not updated for HGSS PalPark. I am almost assured of their legitimacy.
To answer your question though, I used DPPt to transferred NN'd XD Pokemon, and their trash is fine, since the name is now "locked", instead of changing, say for example, "TOGEPI" to "TOGETIC", since it is one letter over and it covered the trash bytes that's suppose to be there, it reads it as invalid.
Also, if a Pokemon has 10 letters in his name ("ELECTABUZZ"), the PalPark Country cannot be determined, nor will it have leftover trash from the name.
