Okay..so I should set my DS clock to match the exact time that's shown on my computer? (I live in California and it's currently 3:39 right now) Then after that I need to catch another level 50 pokemon?

Since your using the shiny egg time finder, you dont have to worry about capturing pokemon.
To do a delay and second calibration, you will have to set your ds to a external clock.
Then you will start your game
Then once the time becomes the next min (example it was 1:51:59 and became 1:52:00) you will soft-resetting a rapidly press A until you enter the world
then you will capture a high level pokemon and input the information in the seed finder
then you will click find and 1 set of delay and second should appear.
You would then record the delay and seconds and repeat the process again about 9 more times. From the list you will have calibrated your seconds and time.
I've read the guides over and over, but nothing is really registering to me. I was trying to record the time earlier when I caught a level 50 donphan..my seed came out as:970E01FD ..I've watched videos, but all the videos are somewhat vague to me. My calibrated second is at 12 right now.

so once i do all the steps i have to do everything from the begining 3 times jsut to make sure or only from the start of save frame.

After 5 nothing generated.

Ive read how to hatch a perfect pokemon but not in depth. I know about delay and time things. so i guess i would want to start with hatching iv's on pokemon.
Im mostly loooking to learn how iv abuse eggs and stationery legends. usually stuff people do.
