  • Hey, just wanted to let you know that I made your "Vena'Zard" =) Thanks for the idea...you should check it out and let me know what you think! Take care, Lux
    Most of the spell cards are aesthetic, especially on Lunatic...and yet however, a few of them may be deemed BS, because sometimes you're just completely walled. Some notable examples include Scarlet Gensokyo (EoSD) and Heaven's Dragon "Source of Rains" (MoF, and my history on that card is 9/237...*sigh). If your friend thinks he's better than you, then he should know what it's like playing Touhou, but sadly, he doesn't, and he still has a long way to go. I'm glad to see you enjoy bullet hell, and maybe one day, you just might surpass one of the pinnacles of all of Touhou - the infamous Virtue of Wind God (just like my video).

    Black Squares of Death mod is where everything is turned into a black square (though some bullets turn invisible). As mentioned, you only attempt it if you memorized the entire stage...
    Oh, wow...I probably shouldn't get into your friend about that. o.o Touhou's taught people a lot of things, and in addition to what you said, you just might improve your eye coordination by a whole lot. It's a masterpiece that's definitely worth our times. :)

    I guess I suppose that I shouldn't talk about black squares. It's for people that want to go over the line... =\
    If your friend fails even the most important tactics in Touhou, he's not gonna get anywhere...hence memorization is important as always. =\

    But for you, I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. And I agree with you, Touhou is awesome - hell, if done right, you just might get some big things out of it (and I got to know lots of people because they shat bricks upon watching me playing a Lunatic stage). But yeah, it feels great to clear a Lunatic stage, since people will tell you that you're crazy in a good way. :)

    I'd talk about "black squares of death", but I'll get to that later. It should only be attempted if you memorized just about every aspect of a certain stage.
    Heh, well, Touhou is pretty much a different story, since clearing on Easy is almost inevitable. I haven't played Metal Slug, so there's not much I can say about it. And for bombs, you only use it if you're either in a panic or for score (which is rare)... -_-;;

    Well, Insane, or Lunatic...it's basically all about micrododging and memorizing. Oh, and one more thing, in some occasions, you don't dodge the bullets - you stream the bullets.

    And for the video, thanks! I've grinded it so hard I managed to accomplish the feat. I played Mountain of Faith for 5 months before accomplishing this. Speaking of which, I captured it again a couple hours ago - yet another surprising moment.
    Oh, wow...maybe your friend should've started on easy. The thing is, there's quite a few spell cards that are BS even on easy. One example is Mountain of Faith (in Touhou 10: Mountain of Faith, of course). Easy version is hard, but the normal version is much easier. The Lunatic version (though called Virtue of Wind God), however, is fun as hell, if you know how to play that card, that is. I actually have a video of me capturing it, and I will admit - that was one of the greatest feats I've ever accomplished, since only the cool kids can capture it. Here's the link if you want to see it.

    Aside from that, you're not the only one who got into Touhou because of the music - there's plenty out there who got into it because of the same reason. As mentioned, most of Touhou music is pretty catchy. And I agree with you that it's hard to believe one guy made everything. A lot of Touhou fans refer to him as the god of Touhou.
    Oh, nice, and did you know what difficulty he was playing on? Because if it was on easy mode, then something's not right. For beginners, they're strongly recommended to clear it on easy mode. Well, now that you know it, feel free to venture the Touhou world. Sadly, I don't know a whole lot of people who play it in person, and the reason's pretty obvious.
    No prob, and Touhou music is actually pretty catchy. Not only that, intense boss battles on higher difficulties, too. I don't know if you're suited to play it, because there's plenty out there that are afraid to play it. Me, on the other hand, took it like a man. But yeah, enjoy your Cresselia!
    You know, I'll admit - I actually liked how you'd use the Cresselia, since it was detailed, therefore you have a place to claim the Cresselia. :)
    Ah, it's from the newly-released remake of 3's Book 2, Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem or something like that, lol. (FE12)
