lake verity is where i've had a lot of success, so good luck. you can sweet scent in grass, or water, or you can fish. each one has a different frame though, so check the 'how to capture perfect pokemon' page, which can be found in the rng sticky.

no, you dont need a synch.
but, i found that your frame is not 522, its 473
so you'll just do 235 journal flips, then sweet scent.
its the column that says 'frame', not 'actual' incase you were wondering how i found that.

first, make sure you are in a place with no NPCs.
after you have hit your delay, and verified it using coin flips you are going to want to advance the frame.
your frame is 522, and sweet scenting in grass advances the frame by 3, so you only have to worry about 519 frames. assuming you are in grass, move one step, and only one step. this should advance the frame by 1, so you have 518 frames left. this can be done with 259 journal flips. so do the journal flips, exit out of the journal by pressing start, and then sweet scent.
