Ah, you're unlucky :( I literally just restarted that game last night for new shiny spreads. Also, I only have luxury, ultra, and timer ball versions of the Metagross (it's an UT Beldum by the way. And please pick two more things lol I would feel bad if that's all I gave you.

Haha I would have to know exactly what you did and what the delay and seconds were you got to be able to help you with the next step. But if what you are doing now is working, then keep doing it and don't worry about what I was going to say lol.

Ok. If you want to use emloop, fiirst, what you need to do is calibrate. Save somewhere in grass. Enter a delay (let's use 1230) into the top box in emloop. Use 60 seconds as normal in the other box. Synch your DS (doesn't really matter what time, just make sure you note the time you enter the game and also the date) and start the timer on emloop at the same time. Insert the AR and turn power back on. When the first timer runs out, hit "start" on the AR screen. Get to the menu screen, and when the next timer runs out, hit A to enter the game. Sweet scent or whatever and catch a pokemon. Check its IVs, and use RNG Reporter's seed finder feature (find seed by IVs) to find the seed you hit. Tell me what delay and seconds you get, and we'll go from there.

No, all you should have to do is catch a poke and check IVs to confirm your seed....care to give me a step by step what you're doing? Maybe I can help. I remember calibrating with my AR the first time and having it be a bit screwy.
