    You know how in gen 4 for Method 1 mons each frame listed a PID along with IVs because they were linked? In gen 5, they aren't linked anymore. They're more like 4th gen eggs, in that you could advance your PID with coinflips and taps and then advance your IVs with NPC movement or journal flips. It's kind of like that. At this point, if you reset and stumble across a date and time that gives good IVs, you can then get those same IVs on another mon and change your PID to your liking through a couple different ingame actions. Just read through the last few pages of the RNG Research thread and you'll understand.

    Unfortunately no my Celebi is not, but I got it from my trade partner Megaman if you'd like one.

    I recently purchased a Japanese version of Platinum as well, would that work to transfer my event Pokes over?

    I guess I see your reason to using them, though we don't exactly get loaded with them here in England. The Japanese get 90% of the events it seems... I still wouldn't trade for them though, mainly because I only like to trade for stuff I can't get myself. For example, I don't trade for RNG bred Pokémon as I prefer to get them myself under my OT. I only really like to trade for legends of different natures to mine (which is a lot considering I don't have many) and events which I missed out on. I dunno, I'm weird like that. :P

    Same to you! This shouldn't be too hard since I'm still used to it before I learned to RNG abuse.
