  • I hope you find it. :-) That's a really decent HP ground power. I'm thinking I'll get ready and do some ditto catches, ones that will be convenient for passing on HP IVs.
    Yeah, I got half way through a set of four trainer IDs for that program and then stopped. I figured I'd just mass breed until my new AR comes in the mail. How's that for lazy. I can watch a movie while mindlessly picking up eggs.
    I can try resets on the same general time as the good IV spreads and see what happens. If there's a chance of meeting the same decent spread, it doesn't hurt to do that. Thanks again.

    Hi again. Mattj responded to my question and it turns out I will have to find a new RNG time, because a spread in the middle of an hour of breeding is not going to show up if I soft reset starting closer to the time the good spread. It's on a different seed.
    Thank you. :-) That answers one of my concerns. I understand that finding the exact time will be tedious, but I'm not really worried about that.

    I've seen this check code mentioned and also MTIVRNG mentioned on the RNG Research thread, but never was MTIVRNG explained (what does MTIV stand for?) or where to find the check code (is it somewhere in RNG Reporter?). I'm doing my breeding on a retail card without the use of an AR just now, and my ROM files are run on an M3 DS, which doesn't yet run the AR codes on Gen 5 (black screen, game won't load when codes are set to on).

    Do you know where to find this check code?

    Oh and it wasn't totally clear in my post but the advancement is equal to the number of pokemon in your party per 128 steps.

    Yeah, there is a step counter app. You'll have to look up where you get it, I don't remember...it's app #4 though I just checked my game.

    Ehm, well it's like 1:47 in the night here, so after the trade I really need to get some sleep. But, I like to battle when we catch each other on next time?
    That´s all no problem ;) But I´d can be that I´m not on then, but I have time in around five hours from now, when I´m right with the timezones its around 12 am by you ;)
