I'm having major trouble trying to find a way to encounter a wild chansey and I'm trying to ask for some help.

i arbitrarily came across this seed while looking for a good egg IV:

However, that 0 in there I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be in there or not, because the 2nd half came out as af4. So I put def4af4 in the reporter and what were the first 6 frames (monter IVs)?

31 / 0 / 26 / 27 / 29 / 31

so i RUSHED into the tallgrass and captured the first mon I could!!!!

dang. i put the 0 in there and those were indeed the correct IVs.

But I did just find this easy to hit completely usable seed:

Eep, I meant another way, haha. You're making it seems like there's more than one way to find your seed, lol. Just wondering what the other way is :P

Is that not how you're supposed to find your seed? :o I didn't know there was an easier way, haha.

well.... I would have, but whenever use the ar device while I'm trying rng abuse, it keeps making me hit some unknown delays that weren't found on the list.

mhmm yeah. The Moltres was giving me a hard time capturing it with a fast ball, so I was forced to use a master ball when it was about way too close to use struggle.

I'm just trying to rng abuse a few of my own pokemon. ^^

So it's a cross between gen 3/4 haha. I didn't know that each person has different spreads like gen 4 thought it was just universal sharing, haha. Good luck on that...yeah :D

Haha - I'm a pretty direct person. I generally tell it as it is - with a bit of sugar coating but that's only because I'm sweet too! :D But yeah...I don't think anyone is particularly unattractive looking...I think there are unattractive people though, XD.

and yeah...I'ma wait and hope that we'll get it spoonfed again like in Gen4 :D From what it sounds like (I read a tiny wee bit about it) it's like gen3 abuse and I'm not doing that, haha!

Oh? Put your zeros on the front, not the back. 00123 is very different than 12300.

Close! The first 5 digits are the first half of the seed. Convert that to hex. Then take the 2nd 5 digits and convert that to hex separately. That is the second half. Put those two hex values together (like just put them together, don't add them haha) and that's your current MTIVRNG seed. Put that in the Researcher in RNG Reporter the way that OD described and frames 1-6 will be the IVs of the next mon you'll catch and frames 8-13 will be the "base egg IVs" of the next egg you'll hatch.

LOL by using the MTIVRNG check code. X) It turns your money and your ID temporarily into your current MTIVRNG value.

I'd explain it in more detail but I'm on my phone at work. Just read the VM I posted for him. It pretty much explains it. I included a link to the code itself, and to a post OmegaDonut made explaining how to use that number in RNG reporter to find the next monster IVs. They'll be on frames 1-6 for all mons except for your roamer. AND your 'base egg IVs' will be on frames 8-13.
