I just recommend that you keep saving in fishy situations, lol. Situations that you are unsure is the right path so you can take the other path.

Going off from reading your question from Frida, some Save Staters are: negator, supe, me, bitterlemon, for54years (sort of not really), Bozo (busy), and I don't know who else.
Hm, a few people know such as Bosskrow and some others which I can't think of at the moment.
I migrate using my slot 1/DS flashcard, using the GBA back-up tool to save and load SAV files onto my GBA games.
I don't RNG with save states on my flashcard as I can't. I only use save states on Emerald.

No, you still detune or flip, just you have a save state so if you mess up, you can try again and only have to hit the seed once.
