Im GMT, and have the added curse of my router doesn't agree with my DS so I either have to use a wireless hotspot, or go to my sisters room and hold my arms out the window and piggy back off of my neighbours, but sadly she likes to sleep far too much.
Cool thing about natures, they're no longer locked to IV spreads.
The overworld sandstorm doesn't advance the Frame for IV's from what I'm seeing.
I don't know about the weather thing, I'll try and verify using Kaphotics Frame check code.
I'd love to do that FAL2010 Mew myself, but I've heard that's very hard to do :( But I still can try, got it downloaded, but I didn't picked it up yet :p

There's no need to hurry to catch a Pokémon as long if you don't take 128 steps. Walking in the grass doesn't advance the IV RNG and neither do NPC's. NPC's do advance the Nature/Abillity/Gender RNG but this can't be predicted at the moment.
For the first calibration I'd just button mash before activating the C-Gear.
Exactly. Turning on the C-Gear right after selecting continue seeds the RNG the normal way, instead of the controllable way.
Whenever a guide is written for this, this'll have to be made very clear, you're not the first one who has been unsure about this...
I'm still using Pikatimer and it's working fine. You need to activate the C-Gear by pressing the Power icon on the bottom screen. So you start the game with the C-Gear off, wait the extra required seconds for your delay and tap the power icon.
OmegaDonut has a released it as a Beta to a few members after which it promptly started to ciculate the Forums by Private Message =p
You'd use the updated RNG reporter and use Timer Finder => Capture, 6 31's, max frame 100(or wathever number you'd like) and delay from your calibrated delay to how high you wish to go.
You can calibrate your by doing the following:
-SR, Button Mash and activate the C-Gear ingame(NOT directly after starting selecting "Continue")
-Capture a Pokémon, I used Terakion
-Plug IV's into "Time Finder => Capture", set Max Frame to 3, set delay to 800 - 1600, method 5, MAC Address entered
-Wait a minute or 5 for the search, or cancel if it has a result before everything's checked
-Right click found seed => Generate more times.
-Check delay.
They're different depending on the last 3 bytes(6 numbers) of the DS's MAC Address.
