Ugh, definitely it won't be the same, Rotom-h fits so well on your team that what he can do is something extremely valuable. And the thing us that even using HP Electric km Tran in order to have at least a chance for taking care of Gyarados, your lead will still have to manage DD Tyranitar and Agility Metagross, probably Swampert is the only one capable of doing such thing, but being the lead plus the task of Metagross and T-tar it's not gonna make it most of the time. You definitely need support man.

Indeed, Paint won't be enough. You'd want to use photo-editing software. If you don't have any, you could try the GIMP or maybe Google's Picasa.
Load up your image in the software, then find and play around with any settings like "hue", "colorise", or others.
