By 'calibrating my egg frame' I mean that I'm finding what frame I collect the egg on when I do nothing but close the journal and then collect my egg. It's basically the number of advances of the RNG caused by my roamers and the journal initially appearing.
However, I'm also trying to hit a spread that should, in theory, land on the same frame as my initial frame. My problem is that it isn't - it's consistently one above or one below, between 10 and 11. And it flips based on what I'm trying to hit.
