Well alright then. I run a semi-HO sandstorm team, so the only thing it walls on my team is CB Azumarill locked into anything but Superpower. Nothing I have likes taking a twave (besides Landlos), but most use Gyro Ball instead. Most of them just kind of sit there with nothing to do. Setting up Spikes or SR is dangerous because I have so many set up sweepers, Leech Seed won't help it much because the only thing it'll do is cause a switch to something that can kill it faster, though Gyro Ball does hurt. As for rain, it can't keep switching into specs Kingdra forever and it can't do much to the likes of Manaphy besides try to do a little damage with Power Whip. Honestly, as long as it doesn't have reliable recovery, its easy to deal with. Hopefully the third game move tutors don't give it recover. Or worse, CAM gives it recover.

The only reason why I think H has any use is because I ALWAYS prefer a fire attack just for the sake of going against steel types.

I HATE steel types with a passion and if it were up to me I would never use them because I think they are an asshole-ish typing, but if I don't run one, I am at a huge disadvantage... since they exist, I always have a random fire type move on a pokemon, such as Gengar with HP fire, or Sceptile. Fighting is neutral to skarm, bronzong, forry, and scizor, and then ground is neutral to scizor and forry, AND x0 against bronzong and skarm... Fire just seems to be the most safe choice, only really walled (steel wise) by heatran.

That's to max HP, SpD or mixed defenses?

Yeah Sub Roost will be superior to it in that sense, but its the only thing it has as a "recovery" move. It probably isn't that bad of a Rotom actually. I still think Rotom W is the best though, merely for the fact that it actually has walled me a few times now.

I've never seen anyone use either of those (though I did read Honchcrow's warstory). Its just as easy to sweep with Kingdra and Ludicolo as SS abusers and use stuff like Manaphy in the other slots, so I'm not sure that fixes the problem. Anyway, I'm not here to debate, I was just curious.

Hmm, well those are good points. I overall enjoy his option of pain split. I wish his attack was a little higher to really make use of sucker punch though. I alwaaays love confuse ray.
