  • Beginner questions are good :) An haha, you're sooo jostling my memories right now since it's been so long since my last breed, haha.

First and foremost, congratulations on getting half the work done :) Be proud that you're almost there!!!
    Now to answer your question:
    1) Once you generated the list of IVs in Time Finder: Egg IVs pick a seed that you want. Remember its time and date etc and then right click on the seed and choose copy seed to clipboard.
    2) From there, you can either exit out of Time Finder or open a new RNG reporter and go to Seed to Time (this is located in the top rightish area below IV to PID). Enter in your seed, select the date that you recorded in step 1, and abuse :) Be sure to click HG/SS and enter in your roamer locations too :)
You don't have to ask me to ask me :) ever, lol. Don't worry and just ask ^^
That's awesome. Did you make sure that you picked out a seed that had the nature/shininess/ability on the first frame? Just making sure, so that you don't mess up. I've done that before. :( (forgot that the seed that I picked had my egg on frame 3 and I couldn't figure out why my egg was always wrong)
It depends where you are capturing. Hitting the delay is the exact same, but in most places, (for stationary legendaries) there aren't any NPCs - which makes things as easy as they're going to get.
I doubt it's easier, but I just go about it in a trial-and-error kind of method. Once I can find my delay in my -99,+99 range of delay, I just adjust when I start the game and when I load the game until I get to my desired delay. But if you are landing right next to it, you are doing it right. That'll happen. I've spend HOURS landing right next to my desired frame constantly. If I'm above it and I BARELY adjust, I land below it. lol. It's torturous.
My message was too long, so I had to break it into two VMs.

If you beat the Elite Four, which will re-release your roamers, RNGing will become much easier. Instead of having to verify your delay by elm calls, you can just match up the roamers - which saves quite a bit of time - and then once you've hit the right delay, you can worry about elm calls/advancing the frame. To use the roamers, though, you will need to record their position when you saved in front of whatever it is you are using to RNG (the guy in the Pokemart, the day care lady/man, a stationary legendary). You enter in their position at the top of the Seed to Time function and your results will have positions for the roamers that will correlate with the delay that you hit.
Okay, when you found the spread that you wanted in the Excel file, the frame was in the "offset" column. So, if you set the RNG Reporter to Wondercard IVs and plug in the seed into the Seed (Hex) box and hit generate, it will show you all of the spreads at different frames counting from 1 up until the Max Results input. So, if you take the frame that is in the Excel sheet and add 2 to the number, then plug that into the Max results box, the frame with your target IVs will be the last output in the list of IVs that the RNG Reporter generated. (You add 2 because the frame that is given in the Excel file is for Method 1 and you're doing Wondercard IVs)

If you want to make sure that you have the right seed, you can set the IVs over in that top right portion of the Reporter to match the target IVs and if the IVs show up once you hit generate, you've picked up a good seed and you know that you can get to those IVs with this seed.
I'll be home in 20 min and I'll show you what you did wrong. You're on the right track, though. Btw, did you already catch your roamers?
You'll still need to advance your frame. Make sure your reporter is set on wondercard ivs and not method 1. Then make sure to stop one frame before your target frame. Bc talking to the guy advanced the game by one frame. And do it in cerulean city. No npcs. Sorry this is brief. I'm on my phone.
Yeah, put your seconds in that box. That way every result will be at 15 seconds after the minute. And yeah, you can use any time that it gives you from that list.
Ah, I only need that absol bc it's female. :/

and that's weird about your wondercards. My pokemart guy always gives me the wondercard in reverse order. Newest to oldest.
It works this way because you still need to enter the game at 15 seconds .. but the delay is much higher, so you have to add in those extra delays before the minute wait is up. If you add it at the end, your seconds will be more than 15.
I have no idea how to work Pikatimer. (I'm assuming those are Pikatimer questions)

I check the odd/even box. Since your delays are always odd and the delay you are targeting is odd, there is no reason to have even results appear.

To answer your last question, you won't always enter in 15 seconds before you are to start your game. With that delay, you'll probably want to start the game at around 10:58:55 and then enter the game at 10:59:14. I don't know exactly, but it'll be somewhere around them. I imagine Pikatimer takes those seconds into account.
Yeah, when I'm first starting out trying to hit a certain delay, i put 99 in both of the delay boxes. And I guess you can put 1 in both of the seconds boxes, but I usually put 0.
Hitting the delay is a little harder. Have you tried out Pikatimer or are you going to go through a trial-and-error method?
For the nature, no. The nature is totally irrelevant. It'll use the same IV spread with whatever the set nature is. So, it's pretty easy to find one. :D

You'll find four links to different kinds of spreads. Depending on what you need, open the Excel sheet that will have the spread you are looking for. Then search the document for the spread and it'll tell you the seed. Then you can put the seed into the Seed to Time function of the RNG reporter. That'll give you the delay that you need to hit.
Ah, that's unfortunate. I hope your computer is back up and running.

That delay is pretty close to what I get. I'll usually land between 487-491. So, it would probably be pretty easy for me to help you find how many seconds you need to allow between starting the game and loading your save file.

What is the delay that you are targeting?
