    I use an R4 which is simular to an emulator but on a DS. I'm really not a fan of using emulators on PC but only care whether or not they pass hack checks at nintendo events such as VGC. non c-gear search method is now available in the new public beta version of RNG Reporter 9 and is such much easier to deal with compared to c-gear. c-gear is really only meant to be used for the high-link or if there's a desired shiny that cannot be done in non c-gear

    never seen link trade(2) before, though i do know that it's in there. do you have a copy of the pkm that i could see?

    as for pokegen, the fixed version isn't out yet. you'll never hit the bug if you don't use it in a very specific way.
