I'm a big supporter of you, CE and the other high activity writers from VGC-- and you know I'd jump into the fray if one of you guys had an objection in your threads. But now that you are a badge member, it's time to network and make more friends in the community. Watch how people post, what they do-- and while remaining discreet for a while as a newcomer, learn as much as you can about those around you. This is the best advice I can give.

As a friend wanting to look out for you (as a knew badge holder), I'll say imo it is a terrible bandwagon post in CE's thread. Posts that use the "this guy deserves badge x more than me" are extra whiny imo... The posts in nom threads should only be either (a) objection (b) extra information, USUALLY from a part of the site the OP doesn't know about. The OP is a mod of the VGC forum, so you're not adding anything.
